> 3 dayThis sand bath is the perfect option. A sufficient size for a Syrian. A dwarf would need an area with more sand. But Niteangel has options for that. As for this sand bath, the surface area is quite large, 8 inches I think. This is perfect for my full grown Syrian. She has plenty of room to turn and dig as she pleases. Also the sides are high enough that sand does not fling out everywhere (into water, food, etc). The platform on top is a great solution to have a hide in the sand bath, which is necessary. Hamsters love some privacy when they bath - don’t we all! My hamster loves it, and it looks great in her enclosure so I love it too!

> 3 daySo I bought this for my dwarf hamster and he loves it. It is so well made like the other niteangel products. This will last forever. It is crystal clear and easy to clean. Yes, you could use a cheaper alternative but this really makes the hamster enclosure look nice. It is super sturdy and you can use the food bowl else where in the enclosure and leave the hole open for your little critter. I like it as I put his wheel on top so it doesnt sink into the bedding.

> 3 dayI bought this for my 2 gerbils to use for sand. They love diving in and out of the hole. Theyre constantly digging in the sand and would empty their sand bowls in the past within days. Weve had this one in for 2 weeks now and it still has most of the sand (some does sneak out the hole but they are very active diggers). Worth the cost, very sturdy material. I was impressed with the careful packaging of it so it made it safely in transport. We were so impressed, we bought a wheel from the same company!

> 3 dayWe bought Fuzzy the small sand bath and put into cage. She uses this as a bathroom, so decided to try a larger one for bathing. We put in playpen so she can enjoy bathing there on her nightly trips out. It is a little too large for cage with other toys in there. (And we do have a big cage) Well worth the investment, cause Fuzzy has room to dig and roll around.

> 3 dayI have the round, the rectangle, and the corner one on order. I have two hamsters. I bought the round one first, its probably my least favorite in my 40-gallon breeder enclosure. Its just not easy to place in a smaller enclosure, and the platform is also so small that you cant store much on top of it. When I pick up a larger enclosure I plant to use it for a dig for eco earth or something. The rectangle one is perfect for a 40-gallon breeder enclosure with just enough room for a 12-inch wheel behind it. I can place the platform perfectly to minimize the amount of bedding in the food and water bowls. I really love that I can see my not-shy hamster using the sand bath. :) The corner one I plan to use for eco earth in my smaller enclosure stacked on top of a niteangel flat-topped hide. Edit: Got it and use it. really like this one, great use of space and the hole covering the entire thing really contains the substrate. Great option for a hamster who loves to kick.

> 3 dayOur dwarf hammy loves this box. The food dish is perfect, and the box keeps the sand out of everything else in his cage, we also have a water bottle sitting on top. Hammy loves it so much he immediately started building a nest in it. I had to add a ramp for him to get out of the box because I don’t currently have enough sand in it.

> 3 dayShe took an hour and a half long sand bath digging around in there. She has never been this enthusiastic about baths but she really loves this!
