> 3 dayScenario i am a cool freak. I live where its 120f atleast 10 days out of the year. my liquid cooler was doing a good job but the fans included sound like a dying jet and thats not good since they are only 2 weeks old. i replaced every fan in the machine with Noctua fans and its so quiet now and to temp dropped about 4c keeping me in at 52c under 100% load across all 8 cores after running PRIME 95 for 48 hours

> 3 dayImmensely quiet. I could feel the pressure it pushes out is stronger than my Fractal Design Define R4 stock fans.

> 3 dayI bought these fans to install in the Obsidian 650 top exhaust location. I wanted lots of exhaust flow and I am getting it. I can feel the air flow and with a digital temp gauge, can see different discharge temps of several degrees from different points in the fans discharge flow.

Greater than one weekWhen I mounted the fan on the side panel of my case. Corsair 400R, either way, intake or exhaust, there was a mechanical hum. I put my coolermaster 140mm back on the side, and used these two as exhaust on the top of the case and there was no hum. I kind of salvaged the use, however I would rather use them as intake because of they blow more air in, but the him was super annoying, and defeated the purpose of buying this fan.I really wanted to like them, for the side panel. For some reason when the 140mm was mounted on the case, the hum disappeared. Also I had to plug the fan directly into the power supply and not use the motherboard because when plugged into the MB the fans would not start right away, and sometimes wouldnt start to spin until the OS was completely started. The 120mm are far superior.
