Noctua NF-A14 FLX, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin (140mm, Brown)

When the box arrived it was heavy, I didnt even think it was my fans because of the weight. You can just feel the quality with these fans. Heavy, good plastic, rubber on all corners for vibration. Honestly the best fan Ive ever held which sounds weird.

I dont remember if I bought the 2 NF-A14 FLX fans here or some where else, so I thought I would go ahead and post a review on both sites that I deal with for my electronics.

I saw others online talking about how great Noctua fans were, and I thought it was all hype. Im no stranger to high end cooling and fans for custom computers, so I was a little skeptical of all the praise this brand was getting for their frankly ugly fans (seriously, poop brown and tan?).

I have a Fractal Design Define R4 Black Pearl case, and I tried upgrading the stock fans with the Fractal Design Dynamic GP-14 Black Case Fans, and still wasnt getting the airflow I wanted. I decided to give these Noctua fans a try, bought one new one from Amazon, and three used ones from a local computer repair shop. Awesome airflow through the case now, temps overall are down 5 degrees C, and Im not hearing any loud fan noise. My system is being used as an entertainment computer, connected to my home theater setup, and from my listening position Im hearing zero fan noise. Im running two of the fans at 7 volts, using the fan controller on the R4 case, and two running at 1150 RPMs using the Scythe SCKMPN-3100 Fan Controller, and I couldnt ask for a quieter machine for home entertainment.

This fan is nearly silent, and moves a lot of air. I love it!

You get what you pay for and Noctua case fans are no exception. Quite simply these are the best fans you can buy. Great noise to cfm ratio, these fans are ultra quiet and still move quite a bit of air. Great accessories package included. The anti-vibration mounts actually hold the fans snugly to the case as opposed to some other brands with similar systems that I found to very loosely hold their fans. Overall Im impressed but not surprised as Noctua has a reputation for making excellent products. If youre looking for case fans or rad fans these are definitely the best choice.

I bought 4 to replace 4 mix fans i was using, and I settled on 3 2x front with LNA 1x back with ULNA. results where same noise level as before with equal or match temps.

Yes its very quiet at max speed/rpm. Packaging is top quality, comes with evrything you need such as, rubber mounting, fan screws, 4 pin molex adaptor, cable/extender, and low noise adaptor. Very high quality, poor aesthetics which is not a big deal for me. Used it as a pull, so i can hide it behind the radiator.BUY IT!

The fan itself is amazing. Its quiet as hell and it moves tons of air. Only gripe about it is that it comes with two Low Noise Adapters. Why would they include two of these if theres only one fan? It makes no sense. Id rather have a two to one plug instead for front intake fans or rear exhaust fans.
