Gotta hand it to noctua! Their fans are super quiet but performs like a champ.

Im not sure if I got a faulty batch or what, all other noctua fans Ive purchased have an unobtrusive whoosing sound to them. These fans, no matter what speed, are loud and whining, and the speed at which they need to spin to cool as adequately as even their 120mm fans, is louder than their 120mm fans, I wouldnt recommend these unless your pc is in a separate room from you.

I only buy from Noctua in regards to fans. They are made very well.

I love Noctua fans, I had the ugly ones in my last build, I just finished this build and replaced my old Noctua fans with the Chromax series and I couldnt be happier. They move alot of air with out being loud like other brands. If you have the money for these you cant go wrong.

Bought this fan as a replacement for a CPU heatsink fan that went bad. Packaging is great, construction is good quality, and the options for changing the corner mount colors is a good bonus as well. Sound is amazing... these are literally running 2FT away from me in open air case (nothing between me and the fans) and I cant hear them running even when im doing video editing/encoding and CPU intensive operations

So far so good. Will be replacing the other fan on my radiator to bring down the noise level even further. Had noctua fans on my old rig, and not only did they bring down the noise level, they helped with cooling. Very happy to see a consumer level black fan!

as much as I like having people know exactly what my fans are by looking at them, I am really happy that Noctua finally made some black fans. several of my friends have already bought them now that they have an option that isnt flesh tone.

Best fans on the market. Reason I gave 4 stars is because had I known it was shipping from Austria I would have gotten the ml pros instead and gotten them same day in chicago.

Keeps pc running cool. No loud at all
