06-06-2025The antivibration feet are wierd. A bit softer of a rubber than expected and fussy to use. I originally thought they were supposed to mechanically isolate the fans from the case to allow the fans to float but in practice they are cushions to soften the contact of the fan to the case so that even if the screws holding the fans on loosen a bit no vibration of the case will cause the fans to rattle. The fans themselves dont cause any rattles so its not even a necessary effort but I guess they look allright.

> 3 dayThe hum other people have mentioned is very real, even at low speeds. Went right back to my old cheapo case fan.

> 3 dayAnnoyed because one of the fans doesnt spin at lower rpms, which means I cant use it at its quietest. Contacted support, who would replace it only after I break it and send them a picture of the fan rendered useless. While I understand why they want that, I cannot do that on a promise that Ill get a new one in a week or 2, especially since I need to use my pc. Bought some be quiet! fans, and they all seem to be just as good or better, and they all worked.

> 3 dayI first want to say that these fans are amazing. I always heard about Noctuas but never needed them bc i was using Mac products(mbp and mac mini). I recently decided rather than upgrading my mac mini, ill build an Hackintosh. I cant imagine build any kind of pc without these fans. Low noise was a major concern when building and i want to say that these reduced noise levels to a minimum. I have 4 Noctuas in my build and i can describe the sound as a low breeze. I honestly forget that the computer is in my room. The reason that i give it 4/5 is bc you have to buy anti vibration and y cables separately!!! What type of nonsense is that!? why not include 4 anti vibrations and 1 y cable in each package and just raise the price by a dollar or 2! I had to wait a whole 24 hours to get these essentials smfh

> 3 dayKeep it under 500 RPM and youll never know its there. However, they are audible above about 600 RPM. Considering their size, however, a couple of them running at 400-500 RPM is all you need to move enough air to keep even large cases cool.

> 3 dayAmazing performance, nice and quiet. I have 2 of these as a front intake as well as 1 more as a top exhaust. Noctua performance with an amazing aesthetic appeal now

> 3 dayOrdered 2x 140mm for my H210i. Doing wonders for gpu cooling. At about 800RPM, its quiet; really quiet. When it kicks up to 1500RPM, its very audible, bit too loud (Ive owned louder, a lot louder). Its the best Ive used. Recommended. Also, the non-brown colour is great. Only gripe is that theres only 4 vibration damper colours, so half the fan would have different colours. The different colours need to be bought separately to have a set of 8

> 3 dayas much as I like having people know exactly what my fans are by looking at them, I am really happy that Noctua finally made some black fans. several of my friends have already bought them now that they have an option that isnt flesh tone.
