Noctua NF-A14 PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (140mm, Black)

I purchased 4 of these fans about 2 months ago and everything was fine. Easy enough to install, and they move alot of air. But after only 2 months 2 of the fans are making a whirring noise that I cant seem to fix. Ive tried everything. Im slightly disappointed but every other fan Ive owned by noctua hasnt done this to me so Im a bit conflicted.

This is my go to fan in all my builds. Only once had a noise issue that was covered immediately via warranty

This is an excellent computer case fan especially for anyone on a lower budget. I installed two of these fans in the front of my case and they are very quiet and generate a lot of air flow. The colored brackets can add a little bit of a decorative touch for a non-RGB fan, but they are made of a thin rubber material and are not securely attached to the fan. Overall, however, this is just another great case fan from Noctua.

If youre case can support it, I recommend getting these fans. They move a good amount of air and are whisper quiet. I have 6 of these installed in my P600S and with the silence panels removed, theyre still silent. I have the fans running under the silent profile in the BIOS. But I also ran them under normal and to me, theyre silent.

Its exactly the same as the regular Noctua fan of the same type, except its black. Frankly I dont know why these arent more popular, since while I love Noctuas fans I dont really love the way their default color scheme feels out of place in every PC I can think of except old IBM PCs.

Ive been using noctua fans for a while because they are very quiet and push good CFM numbers to keep my components cool. I just put two of these chomax NF-a14 fans on the kraken x63 and its very quiet now, especially compared to the air cooler I was using before. Highly recommend these if you care about keeping your computer quiet and cool.
