> 3 dayIm using this fan in a pretty non-traditional manner as an exhaust fan for my composting toilet. The fan must run silently, 24/7, and be able to pull air through a 3x6 duct. This fan performs admirably. I hooked it up to a simple, two-prong DC Motor PWM Speed Controller and its perfect! I can adjust the speed easily and dont notice any off-effects. Its then wired directly to a 12v battery bank.

> 3 dayThey are Noctuas. If you are looking at these fans, then you already know that Noctuas are pretty much the best PC fans money can buy. They are well known for their build quality, quiet operation, and poor aesthetics. I personally like how they look. They are unique in their own way.

Greater than one weekI was looking specifically for a very quiet cooling fan. This one met my expectations. It really is very quiet. I used the included pin-shaped rubber mounts.

> 3 dayThe hype on these fans are well deserved. They push a good amount of air and are extremely quiet even going at full speed. As for the color, its a fan so I could care less. You cant beat the warranty which dwarfs other companies. I highly recommend. These will be running 24x7 so I needed something reliable and quiet.

> 3 day......with these fans anyway. I replaced my 2 Cooler Master fans with these and the difference is like night and day. These fans are SILENT. I originally installed these with the low speed adapter and you couldnt even tell that the computer was on so I removed the adapters to get batter airflow and there was little difference is noise level. Ive contacted Noctuna three times regarding product info and they got back to me right away with the answers I was looking for. They also come with a 6 year warranty from Noctuna. I believe in this company. These are quality fans.
