Noctua NF-S12A FLX, Premium Quiet Fan, 3-Pin (120mm, Brown)

This moves a tremendous amount of air quietly. it was a huge upgrade over the 120mm fan that already came with my case.

very quiet and does a good job cooling my case

Unfortunately, having just put 3 of these in my chassis, I am finding they are louder than my old fans which were much less expensive, and all while moving notably less air. Adding the low-noise wire adapter gets them to about the same noise level as my old fans while adding a very high pitched faint electrical whine. I can barely feel them pulling air across my water cooler using those adapters and see cpu temps averaging 9c higher on my cpu. One of them also randomly rattles with a sound like a bad bearing, even though theyve been running for just over an hour now. I am hoping it clears up but as I type this review I can hear it spending more and more time rattling.

Great Product, Price And Service.

Absolutely phenomenal quality. I was going to go for the newer (better looking) models but I thought that maybe when they were 100% focused on build quality and actual performance instead of pretty colors and all that jazz was most likely when they were producing their best work. Ive purchased 6 of these in total for a new build. Sound on these things is outstanding. Ill be running them at 100% power because at 100% theyre still noticeably quieter than my other case fans at 50% power. These are just the best fans that money can buy. Theres no other way to say it.

I installed two 120mm fans for exhaust on the top of my new custom pc. It works well and silent compare to other fans. Great fans.

I have bought quality fans before, but nothing on the level of a couple Noctuas I bought recently. Wow! Ill likely only buy Noctua from here on out. This ones perfect for my case.

I cant say enough great things about these Noctua fans. They are simply very high quality. They run surprisingly quiet and smooth, they are obviously designed with care and attention to detail, and the build quality is very high. I love the built-in rubber corners for reduced vibration. The package comes with multiple cable for the different speed selections. I went around my computer room and am looking at all the noisy fans I can replace with these superior Noctua fans. Fan noise is something people get used to and you dont know how noisy bad fans are until you shut the device off. Im very happy to pay the (slight) premium in price to get such high quality. I just wished everything I bought was of this caliber of craftsmanship.
