01-04-2025Replaced stock case fans with 2 Noctuas. These are almost inaudible, especially if you choose to add in the Silent adapter (included with the fans).

Greater than one weekPerfect inside my Node 804 case. I have 6 of these puppies running to keep my FreeNas system cool and quiet. This are inaudible when running at 600rpm. These are the PWM fans, so voltage and fan speed are controlled via your motherboard. I just wish these came in black.

Greater than one weekBeen using Noctua case fans for many years. They move a lot of air at low speeds, are almost silent, and Ive never had one fail. I only use these where they arent visible because of the colors. The black.swap ones are just as good (just more expensive) so I use them where a fan is exposed.

Anti-Stall Knobs
The NF-S12A"s Anti-Stall Knobs reduce flow separation phenomena in medium to high impedance situations and thereby increase the fan"s stall margin. This means that the NF-S12A is even more versatile than its renowned predecessor and can achieve better performance on heatsinks and radiators.
