> 3 dayDo not use these fans on a heatsink or radiator, they will barely move any air through it. That being said when unrestricted, they move TONS of air compared to their static pressure counterpart, the NF-F12.I have 4 of these setup in a media cabinet where they have about 5 of open space in front and back and it drop the temperatures inside by about 35F. These fans are also very quiet and as always, Noctua has done it again.

Greater than one weekI purchased these fans to replace two cooler master fans that seemed to be giving out. I have a corsair 300 r case and my old fans which were on the side panel were making a very annoying noise that I could hear from other rooms. I tried giving them some TLC but it didnt help much. I got fed up having to hear that so I decided to try these noctua fans. They were super easy to install and now the noise is GONE. I dont know if I necessarily needed to go with these fans, maybe others wouldve been fine for noise as well, but these are extremely quiet. I dont really do any heavy over-clocking or anything crazy so my need for cooling may not be the same as other people. That being said, I did notice a drop in temperature after installing these fans, so Im assuming theyre doing their job well. Though at this point I really only care that theyre extremely quiet (for emphasis).
