Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown)

The best air cooler on the market. Ive been using Noctua heatsinks and fans for years and they work great. They might be big and ugly, but they are a quality product.

Initially, I had thought air cooled heatsinks were being made redundant with water cooling components, I could not have been more wrong after realising just how capable the Noctua D15 is.

Keeps 10700K nice a cool. Packaging is top notch. The dual A15s are really quiet even at 80-90% fan speed. The noises the fans make are of low frequency so it is not really noticeable. Really easy to install too. Expensive but worth every penny. Only downside I can think of is the NH-D15 is truly massive and may have RAM clearance issues. If the second fan is mounted towards the rear, there isnt room for another rear exhaust case fan. Mounted in a Corsair 570x the cooler almost touches the side panel.

There is no doubt this noctua cooler is one of the most effective coolers and quality construction etc. However the sheer size and weight is of concern. I have been working on installing pc components for about 23 years now. Installation required the removal of video card and when installing this noctua, the sheer weight and then it pressing up against the video card upon install is such that I wonder over time if the pressure will crack something, its that huge! the cooler and video card are pressing against eachother, ---also in the owners manual they state DO NOT TRANSPORT YOUR PC WITH THE NOCTUA ATTACHED , its so heavy that the flex can damage your motherboard ..so even they state that, dont take my word for it, ask noctua. I would reccomend something with similar cooling characteristics that is slightly smaller around the edges and instead putting extra case fans, highest quality thermal paste, faster cpu fans with more aggressive fan profile curves etc as an alternative to this. FAIR WARNING THIS IS SO HUGE AND HEAVY YOUR GONNA THANK ME FOR MENTIONING IT. I have concerns iam going to see a crack in my motherboard in the future. NOT RECOMENDED

Very quiet. Keeps CPU surprisingly cool.

Holy crap this thing is huge! However, if your case can support it, this thing is awesome. I almost went water cooled, but Im glad I didnt. This is a very well made piece of equipment. Noctua will be my go to for cooling from now on. I couldnt be happier.

This is one great cooler it works perfectly.

Une bonne solution pour mon i9 en lga 1151, refroidissement conforme aux attentes. Températures moyennes à 80-85°C lorsque le CPU est à 100%, et environ 50°C au repos. Le bruit est vraiment négligeable on ne lentends presque pas.
