This thing is amazing

Perfect.

To my supprise this air cooler out paces my beloved 7 year old 240mm nzxt kraken and then some. Was even Abel to overclock fx8350 from 4.0 to 4.7ghz at comfortable temps.

Really efficient, low noise level and good temps!

But duh, I bought this case before most of yinz even knew about Fractal. Ive had my case since 2009 and tbh the only part that I think was worth more money is this cooler. Just fit it this morning, took maybe an hour as my AMD Vishera was welded to the stock radiator, but after some acetone and a razor, it has been freed. Currently writing this review on my rig with the new cooler. Quietest and coolest my home office has ever been, which post covid is definitely necessary. May was reported as our hottest month yet, and political beliefs aside, I want to continue to crank out fps and work with my old af 8 core Vishera. The only reason I would replace this unit is to draw the heat toward a legit traditional column radiator. Yes, Im crazy, and yes, I plan on hooking one up next winter as I live on a mt. in Pittsburgh. Trust me friends, this cooler is worth the time and money.

Where I bought this hoping it would give me more headroom on my i7-5820K to overclock it further, from the 4.2GHz limit with my Hyper 212 Evo, and while technically it definitely succeeds at that, frankly, voltages SUCK, my CPU is one of the WORST binned. KICKASS temperatures or not, Im not getting more than 4.2GHz out of my CPU.

Quieter than even liquid cooled. Easy to install. Keeps temps down.

This thing is massive. It barely fits in my BitFenix Shadow case. But it runs amazingly cool and with almost no noise. My case isnt really made to be silent, but I have to put my ear to it to hear the CPU fan running at load! Computer idles around 32 degrees Celsius. At load with gaming and video ripping/compressing it only reaches about 45 degrees. I used IC Diamond thermal paste and only have one fan attached because my memory is slightly taller than normal and my case couldnt fit the second fan set a step higher. If your set up can accommodate (check your memory clearance as well as your case size!), I highly recommend this cooler. Unless you have a case you can see into and dont like the brown and beige coloring, you wont be disappointed with its performance.

Quality is second to none, performance is second to none, ease of installation is second to none. Whats not to like? This is a wonderful air cooler that is absolutely recommended to anyone that has room in their case for it.
