Noctua NH-D15, Premium CPU Cooler with 2X NF-A15 PWM 140mm Fans (Brown)

good stuff, and this is after months of use!

Over the years Ive leaned back and forth between AIO coolers and traditional air flow rads like the Noctua NH-D15.

Huge but wow everything is nice and cool, also so QUIET. My GF can sleep soundly in the same roominus the keyboard clicks while overclocking.

La combinacion del disipador metalico y los ventiladores muy bueno ya que mantiene el CPU fresco aun en condiciones de carga.

This cooler is about as good as it gets with air, matching most water-coolers whilst being much more quite. Top notch build quality and simple ish installation.

Second fan over hangs. Noctuas website claims that my case is compatible, but with the memory modules installed the 140mm is just too big for the case to actually close. Make sure your case has enough clearance before you purchase this.

At stock, my 3700x is getting up to 4.352Ghz with a max temp of 45°C. I used their NT-H2 paste instead of the included paste.

Wanted to go liquid cooling, but after reading reviews, opted for this awesome fan - quiet, cool, and just works!

Qualität, Kühlleistung, Accessoires und Anmutung sind über jeden Zweifel erhaben. Leider ist der Kühler so monströs, dass er in meinem Asus ROG x79 Motherboard ganz knapp an die Grafikkarte stösst (die Backplate der Grafikkarte braucht halt ein paar Millimeter, so dass es mit dem Platz nicht mehr reicht). Ich musste die Grafikkarte in den unteren PCIE x16 Slot montieren. Der zweite Ventilator stösst an die Speicherriegel, ragt also weit nach oben und berührt fast das Glaspanel des Gehäuses. Das sieht nicht besonders elegant aus, aber zur Not hätte ein Lüfter auch gereicht. Das Brrrraun derrrr Lüfterrrrrr gefällt übrrrigens meinem Opa. Derrrr hatte mal Hemden in dieserrrrr Farrrbe. :-) Wären die Lüfter nicht so teuer, hätte ich sie gleich durch die grauen ersetzt. Ein Stern Abzug wegen dem hohen Preis, der eventuellen Enttäuschung, sollte er dann doch nicht auf das Board passen, und dem Umstand, dass man das Teil nicht mit den grauen Lüftern bestellen kann.

This is probably the best cooler unit for overclocking if you dont want to go the water cooling route. Its a big impressive looking unit and requires a large case for clearance. You will get some fan noise when the unit is working hard but its not too obtrusive. The large fans supplied shift a lot of air at relatively low RPM which limits noise. Used with an i5 6600 clocked to 4.6 Ghz and very happy with its performance.
