Tja, was soll man da groß sagen, es ist ein Noctua Kühler und dem entsprechend hervorragend, hält selbst einen auf 5ghz übertackteten, nicht geköpften 8086k im angemessenen Bereich.

Didnt fit onto my motherboard which the manufacturer claims to be compatible with this cooler. Shame because I would have liked to use the product vs returning it as soon as I opened the package.

I was scared to get a water cooler after spending $2500 on my custom build so I read all the reviews about this cooler. For a air cooler its the top. Aesthetically its ugly as sh*t. But I want worried about how it looks, I care about performance and protecting my CPU. This puppy does it great. My room is always hot, I have no windows that open so I get zero airflow from outside. So at night when its been a really hot and humid day my room is at like 85 to 90 degrees. This cooler along with my other fans never let my cpu get above 40 degrees Celsius. When winter rolls around in the next couple of months my room will be MUCH cooler and Ill report back how much the temp has dropped, which I know itll drop a minimum of 5 degrees if not 10.

Noctua doesnt disappoint, my 8700k stays nice and cool :D

When the system was being conceived, water cooling and air was considered. For water, consideration was given to the possibly of a leak as well as pump failure. Further studies found that the NH-D15 held its own against water cooler.

Cooler was packaged the best I have ever seen. Worked great. I discovered they have a different version NH-D15S that does not cover up the first pcie slot on your motherboard. I had to order the NH-D15S to work properly with my EVGA Z170 FTW and EVGA GTX 1080 FTW.

Replaced my h100i v2 with this and the results in both noise reduction and cpu temp reduction are huge. CPU temp is now around 5-10 centigrade cooler and even when testing at 100% it is incredibly quiet. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

Upon opening the box and finally removing this cooler from its packaging, one thing is immediately apparent: this thing is HUGE. The cooling performance and quietness are exactly what youd expect from Noctua: theyre stellar. I was also particularly happy with the mounting system - even though Ive done it many times, applying a bunch of pressure to the CPU cooler to get it seated and installed always gave me the heebie-jeebies, and this cooler required no such pressure.
