Great upgrade from a tried and true product (NH U12S). Stealthy look is cool but for me I was sick of the ugly brown OG fans from my original NH U12S. Heat sink is larger (thicker) and the fans have an improved blade design. I havent stress tested it to see the performance compared to the OG NH U12S, but a 10% CPU OC on an old FX 8350 is no problem.

Immer wieder schön so einen wertigen und qualitativ hohen Kühler zu verbauen. Für die Größe einfach top Kühlung und vor allem leise

I have a Ryzen 9 5900x this doesnt really get the job done on that CPU. I have no idea why the reviews say this thing is quiet, even at 80% Fan speed I could hear the fans going even more than my GPU fans.

Purchased 2 units to upgrade an Intel and AMD motherboards from a pair of Deepcool Gammaxx GTE V2. Well, I was impressed with the presentation and boxing but the performance were below expectations. The idle was in the upper 40c compared to the Deepcool on the Intel MB which kept it steady in the lower 30s and the high stress test they both were about neck & neck around 70c. Now for the AMD, mid 50s at idle with the Deepcool in the upper 30s. The stress test for both were around the same in the lower 70s. I moved fans , tweaked fans and still no changes. Well, like I mentioned earlier the units looks nice but the price to performance were not! I returned both units and reinstalled the Deepcool units…fighting the power! I’m glad it worked for most, just not for me!

The compact format, compared to similar performance coolers, and the fantastic new fans makes this cooler a very good option for those who need this level of performance at a more compact size.

The only thing I do not like about it is the lack of installing information you have to pull on the tabs much harder than you would think to mount the fans but it may be user error

Ok, so if youve researched you know this is one of the most expensive coolers. With this you really do get what you pay for. Quality construction, silent operation, and great performance. The goal with this latest pc build was use as many used, secondhand, and left over parts as possible. The Noctua was one of the few components purchased new and it was a wise choice. Honestly works better that the old AIO that it replaced. Unlike that leaky AIO, this will last forever, only needing a fan change many many years down the road.
