> 3 dayAlthough it seems like Noctua added a color tax to this cooler because its the Chomax Black, its an incredible cooler especially for those who are replacing an AMD Stock Cooler. There are better options out there, but I believe this tower cooler to be one of the best of the best. I dropped almost 20°C on average compared to the AMD stock cooler. Its super easy to install and is pretty quiet. Overall, I highly reccomend this.

> 3 dayI previously owned a Corsair H100iv2 CPU liquid cooler with idle temps of 19-25C, under max load 45C, 2hr stress test 52C. With the Noctua NH-U125 that I currently have installed 28-31C idle temps, under max load 50C, 2hr stress test 65C. At Noctua $94.95(CAD) vs Corsair $124.99(CAD) you get what you pay for. The price seems fair for its performance. Honestly, if you can expense a water cooler and trust having one in your build then Id just go for it. If not, then this definitely would not be a bad start for an CPU air cooler.

Did some comparison shopping and found that the NH-U12S was well within my budget and the supposed cooling advantage was insane. It arrived a week early, and was easier to install than any other cooler Ive ever used - didnt even have to take out my motherboard! Cooling performance on my Ryzen 5 2600 is amazing, Im seeing resting temps of 33-39° and full load temps of no more than 63° (Cinebench R20) - a nearly 20° decrease from my stock cooler. I highly recommend this cooler.
