Noctua NH-U12S chromax.Black, 120mm Single-Tower CPU Cooler (Black)

There is just something aesthetically pleasing about an oversized air cooler inside a PC, it reminds me of an old air cooled harley V-twin. Im glad they came out with the black edition, it fits into the color scheme of my build perfectly! Also, I got a Linus Tech Tips Edition, which was a nice surprise, Im a fan, so Im proud to represent with the little metal badge that came with it. Anyway installation was a breeze. I have this cooling an Intel 9900kf, and even with 8 hours of nonstop 1440p gaming, I havent seen my CPU temp go over 60°C. I replaced the single fan with a dual noctua black fan setup for maximum cooling. I used the red vibration dampeners that came with the fans (fans were purchased seperately) to fit the color scheme of my build. As expected, the noctua fans are quieter than a nuke in space (Powerful, but silent). Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this cooler, see picture for final result.

Easy to install on AM4 and fits the same backplate that comes with 3600x. Add the spacers (box contents clearly shows bits for each platform) and brackets then screw cooler to brackets. Hardest part was removing old stock cooler, it was stuck to the CPU and so needed some clockwise ‘wiggle’.

No buzzes, clicks, blade noises. Completely silent CPU cooler for a necessarily quiet office environment. I can hear a pin drop. I recommend this CPU cooler.

La verdad tengo todo noctua es lo mejor, silencioso, elegante, no queda feo y es el tamaño justo. Lo recomiendo no van a tener problemas de temperatura

Bonne qualité mais sans plus, noctua n a jamais brillé pour son esthétisme!! C est assez moche mais reste sobre pour la marque ! Les performances sont au rdv mais sans plus ! Je l’avais acheté en catastrophe pour remplacer mon silent loop de be quiet qui m’a lâché! Je suis très sensible au bruit et pour le moment aucune solutions de ventilation me satisfait ! A part les macs et particulièrement avec puce m1 tous les pc font un bruit de ventilation trop soutenu !

Bin damit sehr zufrieden. Sogar bei warmes Wetter hat der Lüfter mir sehr überrascht. Wir hatten 33 Grad draußen, innen war auch sehr sehr warm auch, ich dachte dass beim Spielen ich um die 80 Grad in der CPU kriegen würde, hat aber die 70 Grad überhaupt nicht berührt. Normalerweise beim Spielen bleibt es immer unter 60 Grad und das ist sehr überraschend, man hört auch sehr wenig davon. Ich habe 4 Chassis-Fans und alles funktioniert prima zusammen so dass der Geräusch überhaupt kein Thema ist.

With Noctua coming out with black coolers, Im totally sold. Ive been interested for a while in purchasing an air cooler, but never really found one that would look pleasing within a case.

I needed a new cooler for my ASUS Z390 TUF-Gaming Plus WIFI ATX motherboard since I lost the mounting plates for previous cooler (switched from AMD to Intel CPU). I heard the Noctua fans were really quiet and like everyone else I really cant stand that brown color. The backplate for the classic EVO 212 was too tall for my case (Elite 430)- again typical problems with EVO 212 just being such an awkward size for so many systems. Thought Id give this a try because it looks awesome and have heard good things, and the price seemed reasonable.

Purchased this to replace a loud H60 Corsair for a intel 2600k, I know ancient. This thing runs super quiet for a air cooler, I’m amazed , I over clocked to 4.5Gz and still only max out at 68C the case has two inlet 120mm and one exit 140mm fan on top. I will probably add another cooler fan for funzies but I dont really need it to overclock more, this thing is really well made. The install bracket is far superior to the Corsair which uses standard standoffs. Noctua waited way to long to to come out with this color and it is really nice.
