> 3 dayJ’avais installé un refroidissement à eau avant, je le trouvais vraiment bruyant, l’unité centrale se trouve sur mon bureau, derrière mon écran et franchement… je n’entends presque plus rien ! Je ne regrette pas mon choix, en plus la qualité est exceptionnelle et la simplicité à le monter m’ont convaincus.

> 3 dayReally impressed with the overall build quality, the product packaging, instructions, and all the additional parts included such as the long screw driver, thermal paste, and extra thick fan isolators. Which all PC parts were built so well. Well done Noctua, this is a great value.

> 3 dayI bought it to cool my R7 3800x. The cooler that came with the CPU was beautiful but loud and during gaming I saw it going up to 75 degrees or so with PBO enabled. After buying the Noctua I used just the push configuration at first and saw temperatures not higher than 71 degrees while heavy gaming with PBO which is a good improvement in my opinion. Just bought the second fan for the push/pull configuration and I see an improvement of 2 to 3 degrees which is not amazing but not bad either. I just wanted to maximize the cooler’s potential and why not. Now temps are mostly mid to high 60’s while heavy gaming so no complains there. AMD CPUs are known to be very sensitive to temperature and it shows, I can tell my frequencies are considerably higher now compared to the stock cooler that it came with. Also the cooler is dead silent. Noctua makes easy to upgrade to the second fan, the box comes with extra wires and 4 thick anti-vibration pads which are needed in case you want to install a second fan. The installation was easy and the quality seems great so far. No regrets buying this, my 3800x is happy. Planning in upgrading to a R7 5800x and maybe I will write an update.

> 3 dayBeen reading lately that air coolers are as good or better than AIOs so decided to give this air cooler a try. I must say I m impressed: build quality and attention to detail is far beyond anything I am use too (mostly Arctic cooling the benchmark as far as Im concerned). The box came with easy to understand directions and everything, and some spares, that I could possiblly need Including a Allen shaped Phillps that really made installing this easy. I have a TUF Wifi M-ATX and this did not crowd the RAM which in my case is pretty tall. There is still room for two sticks of RAM and another fan on the cooler. This lowered my temps on a 5700g from 89 C to 67C on Cinebench. What I liked most were the directions that told me to just put a pea size drop of thermal compound (included) in the middle of the dye and tighten ALL the screws to 6 Nm. I think if everyone followed these directions even a first time builder could get good results. The directions explained that 6Nm is just tight, no further. It uses the the stock back plate and only the two side panels need to be removed to install. This matches a Coolermaster 120 AIO with two 120 MM fans and radiator that I have installed on a 2700X. another plus is there are no LEDs and the wires which are usually a pain in the neck. Cheaper than an AIO, fits in most, 99% of cases, and almost dead silent. I can hear it ramp up when I start Cinebench , but I have to listen closely. Will buy this again if any of my computers need a new cooling solution. The Engineers at Nocturna really thought this one through, Bravo.

> 3 dayOverall, I am very satisfied with this fan cooler. It was simple to install, looks very sleek and the noise level is excellent. And most importantly, it dropped my temperature on average about 20C cooler. I was getting approximately 53C on my Ryzen 5 5600x with the stock AMC wraith cooler on idle and about mid to high 70Cs when playing a demanding game like Satisfactory. With this cooler, it is approximately 28 to 29C on idle and about low to mid 50s on the same game. The only reason I am taking off one star was because I clearly received a returned unit even though I bought new from Noctua. The rubber bumpers on the fan was covered with dust and there was a finger print on the nickel plate. The bag was also cut open, but was taped back. I didnt want to go through the hassle of returning it just for that, but if it you are going to resell a returned unit, I would expect it would be cleaned for any dust and to make sure the nickel plate is as clean as possible. Other than that, I am satisfied with this purchase.

Greater than one weekFinally noctua got the point! Black fans matched with black hs= best looking AND performing heatsinks they have released. Noctua mounting system is as easy as it gets. Temps with oced 8086k are excellent. In a blacked out build it looks the part.
