Noctua NH-U12S chromax.Black, 120mm Single-Tower CPU Cooler (Black)

I heard how great Noctua fans are, and now Im a believer. First time PC builder but no complaints. My i7-9700k stays at 55 degrees C max during any gaming session. I dont overclock. The fan also runs quieter than my other case fans. Im not sure how it compares to other CPU fans, but I have only good things to say.

This cpu cooler cools my i7 9700k perfect keeps it under 40 degrees Celsius idle and under 70-60 under load and under load doesn’t make too much noise but when it does a better sound then any other fan I heard and perfect buy for $70 and definitely contends with some liquid aios

Bin damit sehr zufrieden. Sogar bei warmes Wetter hat der Lüfter mir sehr überrascht. Wir hatten 33 Grad draußen, innen war auch sehr sehr warm auch, ich dachte dass beim Spielen ich um die 80 Grad in der CPU kriegen würde, hat aber die 70 Grad überhaupt nicht berührt. Normalerweise beim Spielen bleibt es immer unter 60 Grad und das ist sehr überraschend, man hört auch sehr wenig davon. Ich habe 4 Chassis-Fans und alles funktioniert prima zusammen so dass der Geräusch überhaupt kein Thema ist.

I used to use the stock wraith prism for my Ryzen 7 3800x and this is so much quieter and much better at keeping the processor cooler

First, this product was shipped in its retail packaging. No security tape, no extra packaging material to keep the fan from being damaged in shipping. Also, this product does not fit into a standard medium tower case. You tower will need to be wide in order to fit the fan and put the covers back on. It seems to be made of good materials.

Is only compatible with AMD socket AM4 if you have the stock mounting plate. I have a pre built which had another type of cooling system that did not utilize it, and wasn’t supplied. This manufacturer should be clear up front you will need this, and imo should just include such an inexpensive part. One star for being a deceptive company and wasting my time.

Je suis fidèle à la marque et ne suis jamais déçu. Ce ventirad version black est pour moi une révélation : je suis un adepte des PC visuellement discret ! Niveau refroidissement rien à signaler, le cpu excède rarement les 60° même en pleine charge (gaming) grâce à ce produit. Le prix est peut être un peu élevé mais je lai eu en promo :p

I paired this with a Ryzen 7 3700X. The temperatures at stock for me are anywhere from 30c-35c idle and 36c-44c while gaming. I don’t really overclock, but did for the sake of this to 4.4 GHz. While gaming, my temps were below 70c. I did not use other applications so I apologize. The case I am using is a Fractal Design Mesify-C case with 2 intake fans (140mm) and 2 exhaust (120mm).

This thing is basically completely silent. Amazing little cooler. I actually ahd to take it on and off several times due to my motherboard needing a firmware update, so I had to swap back to an older CPU temporarily. Its super easy to mount/dismount as needed.
