NOW Supplements, Quercetin with Bromelain, Balanced Immune System*, 120 Veg Capsules

I regularly got sinus infections a few times a year requiring multiple prescriptions. As someone who tries to find alternatives to conventional medicine, I knew there had to be something to help with my sinus infections. Quercetin with bromelain it is! My sinus infections are gone and I haven’t had one for over 7 years now. I do live in an area where the weather can change quickly, and I do have a day here and there where the pressure change gets the better of me and I feel sinus pressure and get a headache. I take another quercetin and it helps. I take 2x a day every day of the year except for above situations where I take a third pill. As with any natural supplement, you must take on a regular basis and be patient when starting out. As most of us know, there is no magic pill, but this one comes close working with some the nutritional choices I make. This is THE brand I always purchase. Hope it helps you with your sinus issues!

Great product...but too bad its doubled in price. One has to wonder if they are taking advantage on the demand.

I am not a doctor and this is not medical advice. My husband has severe asthma and seasonal allergies and has always been in the ER every year since he was a teen, for his symptoms. He was on all the meds they automatically put people on for these symptoms, all the steroids, inhalers, and nebulizers etc. and they didn’t always work either. They barely kept him functioning. Eight years ago, my doctors were no help at all to me with some of my own issues, and I saw through what was happening and realized they were following protocol for big pharma, and didn’t really know where my symptoms were coming from, so I started studying for myself, researching, etc and eventually healed myself. So long story short, I applied this same philosophy to the rest of my family, starting with my husband, and I put him on this supplement bromelain & quercetin, with a double dose of organic C from actual fruit every day (not synthetic ascorbic acid from big pharma,) and one Zyrtec a day. This was eight years ago. In the last eight years, my husband has not been to the ER once, or a doctor, at all. He has not had any symptoms, save twice, when the oven got smoky from a spill, and he had to open the windows for a minute. That’s IT. I’ve come to find over the years, that the medical industry is one for profit only, so beware and be think for yourself. Almost every commercial you see is paid for by big pharma. Allopathic doctors are trained and schooled by text books and studies that are written and approved of, by big pharma. Taking supplements rarely if ever, hurts anyones. If a vitamin or supplement makes you uncomfortable, stop taking it lol. But don’t listen to the propaganda that tells you supplements and diet don’t work, because that is a marketing LIE to keep you sick and dependent on an industry that lies and profits off of sickness!!

Im 99.9% I have a histamine intolerance since I break in hives all the freaking time. Right now its allergy season in northern Virginia. I started NAC for its purported beneficial effects and for the first time, I broke out in the worst itchy hives all over my body! Like ALL OVER. They last weeks. It was awful. Then enters this supplement. I remembered my Lyme doctor had me taking this with a ton of other supplements. This totally relieved me of the hives! Folks on YouTube will say quercitin isnt very bioavailable and a waste of money but I am testament that it is doing something.

Good product

I hardly ever write reviews on amazon but seeing as how many of the reviews helped me figure out what dose I needed for allergies Im going to chronicle my experience. First off this supplement is amazing. Before I started my Quercetin regiment I was taking Allegra- D 180mg, I had very severe allergies. It worked OK , but after 3 months I started having really bad ED. Yes, erectile dysfunction. As a 23 year old theres no reason for me to have ED. I also had problems sleeping, feeling tired, and being angry all the time. This was when I started looking for something different, and did some research into Quercetin. After trial and error I figured the dose that works for me (I am 220lbs) was 2 capsules in the morning 7am and 2 capsules in the afternoon 12-3pm. I also take a 10mg singular every morning. After about 3 days of getting off Allegra and starting this I had amazing results. My allergy symptoms were completely gone and I regained my manhood. Additionally I feel refreshed, and my muscles feel a lot better in general. I have a job that requires me to be extremely active and after starting this supplement I feel like it takes a lot more work for me to feel sore. Overall Im glad I made the switch . This works better than any other allergy medication Ive tried, and trust me Ive tried everything.

Great, fast delivery

I’ve been taking these as directed to help with my allergies and inflammation for nearly two months now. I heard positive things about quercetin, and this supplement was rated highly based on reviews. I cannot say for sure that there is not an effect, but I still need to make sure to take my allergy medicines (Benadryl and Claritin daily), and I still get hives. I don’t feel less itchy, either. I cannot say for certain whether this product has quercetin in it, since supplements are not regulated by the government, so it could be this product rather than my lack of response. The data on quercetin seems pretty good, so I would expect at least some results with the amount the tub suggests per day. Positive things, though: capsules are vegan, so no gelatin taste or gi upset from that! Additionally, there doesn’t seem to be any artificial colors to the tabs, which is great for preventing for allergic responses! I may keep taking this, at least until my tub is done, and see if I notice anything if I stop! I’ll update if there is anything else significant to add!

I was on a prescription seasonal allergy pill for ten years. As time went by, it appeared to be less effective. When I would ease back on the doses or quit taking it in winter (I live in the Midwest), my sinuses would plug up horribly and skin rashes would develop. I also used to get chronic upper respiratory infections, two or three every spring, and these, too, are in the past. I am not prone to long reviews, but I was inspired by other reviewers when choosing the NOW brand and felt I needed to pay it forward! I could never have predicted how much this supplement has improved my quality of life.
