Good product at a good price.

The good thing about this product is, its easy to swallow. It has 5K IU D3, and if you take 2 capsules a day for 5 days then youd be taking 50k IU in a week, which is sufficient if you are Vit D deficient. But dont take it for the long term. Consult with PCP

It doesn’t have all the additives the pills have, it’s a pure form of vitamin c. It dissolves well, can be added to juices or teas.

I have been taking Vitamin D3 5000 Iu. for years. My Cardiologist ran a blood test to test my Vitamin D-3 levels and in the follow up appointment told me, Whatever you are doing taking Vitamin D3 keep it up. If you do research online, you will learn that even in places like Saudi Arabia and where you would think people receive enough Vitamin D3 from sunlight - you will learn, NOT! Everyone can benefit from taking Vitamin D-3. I highly recommend it for people of all ages - and especially now in the winter where many people rarely spend much time outside in the extremely cold weather.

On my initial lab my vitamin D level was 7 . My rheumatologist told me he cannot remember ever seeing a vitamin D level that low and recommended I start taking Vitamin D supplements. When I went back for repeat Labs six weeks later my vitamin D level was 20 with just taking 1 5000 units Soft gel every night. He was shocked that they come up that much that quickly. Best of all the brain fog that had me so concerned has cleared up. Apparently brain fog is a side effect of low vitamin D. Evil softballs really dont really have any flavor, theyre easy to swallow, but most importantly they will raise your vitamin D level.

I didnt know brand mattered with supplements, but it really does. I was taking some unknown brand of vitamin D (5000 units) and my yearly bloodwork still came back insufficient. So I did the research I should have done the first time and came upon NOW brand. After taking the 5000u pills every day for about two months, my recheck bloodwork is now well within normal range for Vitamin D! I learned my lesson, no more shady supplement brands ever again.

I put a loved one on these when they got sick frequently, & they were sick way LESS often. Their D3 25OHD levels rose well taking this D3. I also give it to my kids who are able to swallow pills. Their D3 levels are good too. I WOULD purchase this product again.
