Good product at a good price.

THE PRODUCT IS FINE, I HAVE USED IT FOR OVER A YEAR NOW AND I FIND IT TO BE VERY GOOD. THERE IS A PROBLEM IN GETTING IT. I ORDERED IT , THEY SENT THE WRONG PRODUCT, THEN THEY SENT ME ONLY ONE BOTTLE OF D-3 I HAD TO E MAIL THEM , THEN THEY SENT ONE MORE AND I HAD TO E MAIL THEM AGAIN AND I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY LAST BOTTLE. I HAVE AT THIS POINT AUGUST 3 2010 NOT HEARD ANYMORE FROM THE COMPANY. I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH THIS FOR WEEKS NOW. SO THE PRODUCT ITSELF IS FINE, GOOD LUCK ON GETTING IT. IN ALL FAIRNESS THOUGH THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE HAD A PROBLEM.

Been buying them for at least 5years , my blood work is always good on my vitamin D they work !!!!

My blood test in the summer of 2011 showed I was low in Vitamin D and therefore am taking 10,000 IU/day as prescribed by my doctor to help with depression. Theres too many variables in my life such as acupuncture and other supplements, to know whats doing what, but even so, I still feel down and irritable. I have my partner taking the same amount per day, and I see an improvement in his mood. I havent gotten my teeth cleaned to find out if its helping with my receding gums, but we both agree that we have less mouth sores. Update as of 4/2012: Just had my teeth cleaned and my gums went from a 3 to a 2 which is a major improvement and even one that the teacher found hard to believe (I go to a technical college for my dental cleaning). I think it has helped with depression. I still struggle with irritability.

I feel it would be unseemly for me to indicate a health result that I am not sure is valid. However, with that caveat, I say that, based on what appears to be valid research - we need D3. Thus, when making a selection - I chose NOW because I trust their products.

I was instructed to take these by my doctor but to be honest, I dont think Id know if it works unless I get more blood tests done, which is sooo not happening (Im not a fan of needles >w< haha) The product itself is what it is though so all I can do is really assume it contains all the good stuff it says it does. Otherwise, the pills look like little tiny gel beads and go down smoothly with an adequate amount of water (normal swallowing amount works just fine), and the only negative-ish comment I have about it is that it has a bit of a fishy smell if you ever take a whiff of it. It doesnt TASTE like fish (though Ive never exactly bit the pill apart; only swallowed), but if you just smell it with all the beads in the container, they compound to equate fish-stank.

Not all vitamins are equal. I know I received what I needed from this product, because when the Dr told me I was depleted of D I asked how I would know if I was taking a good vitamin D or not. He told me the only way was try one and then get a blood test. Not to assume this product was doing the job, I got a blood test after a period of time and and my level of D was back where It needed to be and has stayed there. Good product, good job.
