Pro: Nice feel. The stroke is a bit long compared to my last keyboard but the feel is excellent. Just while writing this review I have gotten used to the longer stroke. Heavy back plate. This puppy is not sliding around without me intending to move it. I am not sure if a mechanical keyboard but it sure feels like it. Very inexpensive for a mechanical keyboard. This will probably be the easiest keyboard to clean since when you used to unplug them and take them into the shower with you a 2 or 3 decades ago. There is no tray the keys are sitting in to hold dust, bits of potato chip, cat hair (my cats like laying on keyboards for some reason), ... I do not see even a reason to remove the keycaps except to put on different ones for different languages. Con: Tabs for raising angle of the keyboard, like so many including expensive keyboards are cheap fragile plastic and will probably break within a few months. No macro keys, programmable or otherwise. To be honest this might be unfair. A great many keyboards have abandoned using macro keys but they really help with a lot of programs including productivity software but gaming especially. I think programming them gives people fits. Oh well. Also this is a very inexpensive keyboard with a mechanical keyboard feel. Other: The lighting schemes are nice but I would personally prefer just a straight white lighting behind the keys. I am retired. I am a vampire as to my sleep wake cycle. I am up usually all night long and up only in the daytime if there is something I have to do. I however do not wish to waste electricity so I tend to keep the lights off. This means I cannot see my keyboard and with my aging eyes, I really want as much contrast to make it easy to read what the keys are at night. I am considering purchasing another couple for backups for when this eventually (hopefully far in the future) fails.

The NPET K10 Gaming Keyboard is a membrane-style gaming keyboard that has been designed for gamers. In terms of build quality, the keyboard appears to be well-made with a durable plastic construction and a comfortable design. However, the fact that the down arrow key broke just a week after use is a concerning issue and raises questions about the keyboards overall durability. In terms of performance, the keyboard has a range of gaming-specific features, such as anti-ghosting and media controls, that make it well-suited for gaming. The backlit keys are also a nice touch and allow for comfortable use in low light conditions. However, the broken down arrow key could be an inconvenience for some users and may affect their gaming experience. The keyboard is also relatively affordable, making it a good option for gamers on a budget. However, the fact that a key broke just a week after use suggests that there may be issues with the keyboards overall durability and quality. Overall, the NPET K10 Gaming Keyboard appears to have some attractive features for gamers, but the broken down arrow key raises concerns about the keyboards durability. As with any product, its important to weigh the pros and cons before making a purchase, and to consider the potential risks and drawbacks before buying.

i work in an office and i got this cute pink keyboard in an effort to make work a little less miserable. its actually even cuter than anticipated - the shade of pink is beautiful and overall the keyboard looks much more expensive than it is. i dont know how this would hold up under intense gaming, but for daily office work it has been great. im not a big fan of the edgy gamer font on the keys, but that really doesnt matter to me since i never look too closely at them anyway. my one complaint is that the rainbow LED comes back on every time i boot up my PC. there is a convenient LED key that allows you to toggle between 3 different color settings (and OFF), but the keyboard doesnt remember where you left it, so you have to readjust the lights every single time (even if you just want to keep them off). kind of annoying, but for $20 ill take it.

I got one of these for my Macbook and one for my PC. Happy with them. They are fairly quiet, but not silent, WAY quieter than my Blue key tenkeyless that I cant get used to. Key travel is comfortable for me; I know when Ive pressed one! Also I seem to miss the Shift key on my tenkeyless, that doesnt happen on this one. The lighting is easy to adjust, no big deal, Im not really into the light thing, but it has it, whatever. You can turn them off entirely very easily with the light level control. My only complaint is that the characters on the keys themselves are kind of small, I strain to see whether Im getting a $ or a % or any of those; I dont have them memorized. Even the numbers are a bit hard to see, Im terrible with those. Im good with them though, Im keeping them.

I hope you know your keyboard. I type a lot but I am not a typist. The letters on the most used keys are gone! It took over a year for it to happen and for the price, I really can’t complain. It’s comfortable to use and I use it for work 3 to 5 days a week. It was recommended to me and I have recommended it to others with no complaints so far.

Ive not had any major issues with it. Ive had the keyboard for 16 months. Im an enterprise software developer - so while i use the keyboard every day, im not straight up typing all day long. The key caps are cheap and mine have started to deteriorate. This is not an issue of functionality, though - the black paint is wearing off, exposing the translucent material of the caps such that more light is let through, and you can no longer read the letter. The space bar now has a huge blob that lets light through. Recently ive seen an issue where Windows seems to think the Windows key is constantly pressed, and i have never encountered this using any other keyboard. Even with the ability on this keyboard to lock out the Win key, it continues to happen. Ive turned off sticky keys and all of the related nonsense in Windows, but the issue randomly continues to happen. Unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in doesnt correct the problem - only a full reset will fix it. Its certainly possible that this is not the fault of the keyboard, but as ive never once seen this in the past 30 years ive used windows, i thought i should mention it. My only other gripe is that i find the colors a bit annoying. I wish there was just a regular white backlight option. For the first few months of use, i just had the lights off. But the key caps are very shiny, and although im certainly able to type without looking at the keyboard for 95% of the time, there are still a few symbols and F keys i need to look at. The shininess means that theres enough glare to make the keys unreadable. So overall, its fine. Its better than the $10 keyboards ive used most of my life. Its easy to clean, feels fine to type on all day, and hasnt completely disintegrated over the past year. Given the price, its hard to argue with it.

My only complaint is that I wish it had USB plugs like the Dell keyboards do - but hey, cant have everything right? Nice keyboard - works great for coding in the dark - yet the lights go to sleep on their own after a certain amount of no activity. Awesome! great deal on this as well.

This keyboard is a lot quieter than my old one, however the space bar seems to be about the same loudness as my old one. I type super fast and am on my computer while people are sleeping, so I was hoping this one would be extremely quiet so as to not wake anyone while I am typing. The space bar is the only complaint I have about it to be honest. I love the colors, as shown in the pictures, and there is an option to turn the colors off when I head to bed.
