Some keys broke after 2 days especially the W key, just replaced the switches and fixed it.

Ive always wanted a keyboard that I could read at night, as Im a pretty fast home row typist but often need other random keys for games. I wouldnt call this a pro gaming keyboard, but for the price its very good quality. Its got some heft to it and feels solidly built. Ive had this keyboard for about half a year and have had no issues with it. I am starting to see a tiny amount of wear on my D and F keys which makes some light peak through around the edges of the top surface of the keys. I suspect that within a couple years Ill see quite a bit more but honestly its not enough to bother me yet. When I received the keyboard, one of the rubber pads at the bottom was missing and was nowhere to be found. I communicated with the company through the amazon message system and they promptly sent me a couple replacement pads. I guess quality control left a little something to be desired, but customer service was great. Just be prepared to wait a little while as Im pretty sure it came from China. (Probably took a week or so, so not too bad). Concerning the feel of the keyboard, I personally think its great. Its sort of an in between a mechanical keyboard and a membrane keyboard. Hard core gamers might just snub their noses at this keyboard but honestly its been my favorite feeling keyboard (compared to the keyboards that usually come included with a mass produced computer). I remember reading some reviews that complained about the comfort of the keyboard but its been great for my average sized man hands. The keys do tend to feel taller than an average keyboard so if they feel too tall, I would recommend one of those gel keyboard pad dealies to raise your hands up a bit. Anywho, overall Im very satisfied with the product and customer service over at NPET. Its always a little nerve racking picking a product out of the usual 4-5 copycat products out there, but this one was good.

    Greater than one week

Ive not had any major issues with it. Ive had the keyboard for 16 months. Im an enterprise software developer - so while i use the keyboard every day, im not straight up typing all day long. The key caps are cheap and mine have started to deteriorate. This is not an issue of functionality, though - the black paint is wearing off, exposing the translucent material of the caps such that more light is let through, and you can no longer read the letter. The space bar now has a huge blob that lets light through. Recently ive seen an issue where Windows seems to think the Windows key is constantly pressed, and i have never encountered this using any other keyboard. Even with the ability on this keyboard to lock out the Win key, it continues to happen. Ive turned off sticky keys and all of the related nonsense in Windows, but the issue randomly continues to happen. Unplugging the keyboard and plugging it back in doesnt correct the problem - only a full reset will fix it. Its certainly possible that this is not the fault of the keyboard, but as ive never once seen this in the past 30 years ive used windows, i thought i should mention it. My only other gripe is that i find the colors a bit annoying. I wish there was just a regular white backlight option. For the first few months of use, i just had the lights off. But the key caps are very shiny, and although im certainly able to type without looking at the keyboard for 95% of the time, there are still a few symbols and F keys i need to look at. The shininess means that theres enough glare to make the keys unreadable. So overall, its fine. Its better than the $10 keyboards ive used most of my life. Its easy to clean, feels fine to type on all day, and hasnt completely disintegrated over the past year. Given the price, its hard to argue with it.

I bought this as part of revamping my work desk, which is white. The keyboard looks awesome, the lights are nice and easy to change, and the functions work well. Aesthetically, its great. It generally feels really nice to type on. But after a week or so, the spacebar started to feel weird if I pressed it from certain angles. Basically, if you push directly on the center of the spacebar, it usually moves fine. But if you push it on either end it goes down unevenly and doesnt move smoothly. It sucks and I might have to return it for this reason. I type too much for a weird hitch with the spacebar. Ill try to fix it before I replace it, maybe theres a solution. With all that said, at the price I paid, I wouldnt tell someone not to buy this if they want to tryout a smaller keyboard. But id warn them about this spacebar issue.

The keyboard functioned nicely while youre typing on it, but after 5 minutes of no activitythe lights shut off, and you have to re awaken it by typing again. This may not bother some people, but I like the lights to stay on as long as the computer is on. Just a heads up!

Some of the lettering/symbols are worn off. As if it was a used keyboard. Functional still but this was rather annoying.

***UPDATED REVIEW*** Ive been using this keyboard as a daily driver for about three months now (purchased in mid-September 2022, now mid-December 2022). It works as intended and has a lot going for it (see original review below). However, the black paint on the keys is wearing off so that I cant read the characters anymore. Its disappointing that the company made such an otherwise great keyboard but because they cut corners with the design of the keys, the keyboard STILL ends up being disposable. And this after JUST THREE MONTHS. So here I am, back on Amazon looking for another keyboard. :( If you can afford it, spend your money on a premium product that will last years. This, sadly, isnt it. ***ORIGINAL REVIEW*** In the past five years, Ive gone through two dozen keyboards. Most of the wireless ones just dont work reliably. BT cuts out. To conserve energy, they turn off after a couple of minutes--leading to mistakes when you start typing again due to the re-connection lag. Batteries die at the least convenient times. Etc. This keyboard offers the reliability of an always-ready wired connection. And the back-lighting means I can work in any light conditions because the light turns OFF or I can adjust the light intensity up/down. While the springiness of the keys isnt as sharp as, for me, the gold standard--the Lenovo classic Thinkpad keypad--its far better than most other keyboards anemic, wishy-washy , did-I-actually-just-depress-that-key? feel. The feel isnt as sharp as that of other gaming keyboards, though--if thats critical to you. Its quiet enough to be used in a room with other people without being a nuisance, and springy enough to give you an immediate feel that each key has been depressed. Another huge plus for this keyboard is how intuitive it is to change the lighting. You just use the clearly designated FN key and the PG UP/PG DOWN keys. These latter have the light-icons with either - or + also printed on them. And unlike other keyboards, all these keys are illuminated--not just the letters but the symbols too. For the price, this keyboard cant be beat. Id even buy these for others for gifts--a solid, reliable, no-nonsense product. If youre sick of dealing the the prima dona wireless keyboards but sill want to be able to work in low-light conditions, this is a terrific keyboard. Ill update my review if anything major changes.

I got this keyboard to replace the one I have been using for work that was getting worn out. I type most of the day so was pleased to see how sturdy the keyboard is. The back plate is metal, and the keys are shaped for easy reach and comfortable typing. The colored background of the keyboard and letters is adjustable but seems a bit dim on the letters. Its not an issue for me as I am a touch-typist, but it may be a problem for those who have to visually find the keys. I am very happy with the quality and features, especially for the price. I would recommend this product.

I got this keyboard because my last cheap one got water damaged and I just needed something at a low price point for casual use like writing emails, resumes and chatting up in Discord. My biggest concern from other reviews was seeing some of the keys getting stuck while typing. I did give it 4 stars because the H key did just that. It wouldnt bounce back after typing and just stay pressed which was super frustrating, but I assume whoever put this together put the H key on upside down because once I removed it and turned it around its been working just fine. I dont think I would recommend this for gaming, not sure if it will last long if you do long gaming sessions. I play most games on controller so I dont have to worry about that. But on comfort, Im not sure if the raised keys are for everyone. Im still getting used to it, it feels quirky if anything. And the placement of the Enter and keys annoy me to no end, so keep that in mind. I dont care much for the LEDs. There isnt much variety and you cant choose a single solid color but for me they are just a cute addon if Im feeling like lighting up my keys. Overall for the price point Im satisfied. I just needed something that works and besides having to move the H key myself, it does just that.
