> 3 day“Daddy, why is my sister named Rose?” “Because your mom loves roses.” “Thanks Dad.” “No problem, NPET K10 Gaming Keyboard USB Wired Floating Keyboard, Quiet Ergonomic Water-Resistant Mechanical Feeling Keyboard, Ultra-Slim Rainbow LED Backlit Keyboard for Desktop, Computer, PC, White.” “Daddy why is my name so long?” Anyways, yes, I love this keyboard, but I will not be naming my child after it. Or a rose. - The LEDs are static, so they don’t cycle through colors, but there are three options, and I actually like the static option. My mouse LEDs cycle, and it’s kinda distracting. - It’s not really ergonomic or slim, but it’s not huge and bulky. The keys are larger and farther apart than I would’ve liked, but I’ve been using a small laptop for years, so I’m growing accustomed to the larger size. - On that note, the keys are REALLY loud. It’s almost impossible to type without letting the whole building know you’re finishing a paper the night it’s due. I’d take off a half star if I could, but I’m generous, so I rounded up. - Because the keys are so far apart, stuff gets under the keys easily, and the base of each key is raised, so it’s hard to blow debris out. There is a thingy included that I think you use to take the keys out to clean, but I lost it the day I got it. - I’ve seen several reviews that say the white part of the keys rub off within weeks, but I’ve had this for almost three months and I see no wear at all. Edit: Two and a half years later, and the white still hasn’t rubbed off even a little bit

> 3 dayI hope you know your keyboard. I type a lot but I am not a typist. The letters on the most used keys are gone! It took over a year for it to happen and for the price, I really can’t complain. It’s comfortable to use and I use it for work 3 to 5 days a week. It was recommended to me and I have recommended it to others with no complaints so far.

> 3 dayMy old keyboard broke down. A lot of modern keyboards are really bad at control keys. I switched to the keyboard that came with my HP computer, and was pretty dissatisfied with it. I always use the CTRL key on the left. My hand can reach ^W, ^E, and ^R, all of which are very important keys in emacs, but the HP keyboard kept not registering the CTRL key so instead of those control characters I was getting w, e, and r respectively. I bought a Logitech MK120 keyboard on Amazon. It turned out to be far worse. I figured it would be good, because the photos look as if, unlike the more modern keyboards, the keys travel a significant distance down. The keys do travel, but the behavior on difficult CTRL keys was even worse than on the HP keyboard. Even when I was very consciously pressing down really hard on the CTRL key, sometimes, instead of getting ^W, or w I got weird, illegal characters transmitted which would make emacs hang and Ive have to kill the process from another window. 40 years ago, before the IBM PC was introduced, most computers had the CTRL key where the CAPS LOCK key is now. There are these Happy Hacker keyboards you can buy like that, but theyre hundreds of dollars, and I dont want to get used to a keyboard like that because when Im using a computer other than the one at my own desk, like when Im at a co-workers computer, I wont be accustomed to the layout. This keyboard, which hardly cost anything, REALLY solves the problem. The keys travel a considerable distance when pushed down, and it NEVER misinterprets CTRL keys.

> 3 dayIve wasted so much money on expensive keyboards just to accidentally spill a drink on them and ruin them. As a gamer/streamer, I sometimes get caught up in the moment and lose track of my drink and/or hands and the next thing you know, your keyboard is soaked. With this keyboard, its not an issue. I have actually spilled multiple sticky sugary drinks on it and it keeps pluggin away. I have not gone so far as to intentionally spill large amounts of liquid or submerge it to test it. My experience is based on actually accidentally knocking over a drink and spilling a small-ish amount of liquid. The feel of the keyboard is good. Its much quieter then a mechanical keyboard, but louder then a membrane one. The keys have a nice click with decent finger feedback. Im a gamer, but not a professional by any means, so I dont need a super expensive keyboard with Cherry Switches, etc. This style works great for me. The only downside is that in the time I have had this keyboard, the paint on the S, A and D keys have worn off and the Left Shift, Space Bar, C and W keys are wearing off too. But the function is still 100%! The RGB is limited to Four modes, 3 different sets of static rainbow colors and off. Overall, a solid keyboard at a great price. I liked it so much I bought a second one for my second computer. Highly recommend!
