Odi Grips Bonus Pack Rogue Long 130 mm

> 24 hourI bought these grips for my fiancée, who broke her hand awhile back and needed a bit of a softer, larger grip. The grip is a bit larger than some of the thin ones, like stock Bontragers or ODI Ruffians, but thinner than Oury grips. The rubber is also a bit tacky (but not sticky), so it grips really securely and nicely to the hand, but the grip is not mushy. Lock-On grips are the only way to go on for serious mountain biking, as they dont twist around or work their way off the bars. This bonus pack comes with two grips, two sets of clamps (four clamps), two sets of screws (four screws, hidden in one of the grips), and two bar plugs that get popped into the outside clamp and locked on, not like the shoddy ones that insert into the bar tube. The clamps come loose and are a bit hard to get on the grip itself; I used a soft mallet and gently tapped them on one at a time, with the grip vertical on a soft mat. The clamps are the same for the inside and outside of the grip. Mount the clamps onto the grips first, then put a cap on one side of each, and then slide them onto the bars. Position the grips and then screw the clamp down, taking care not to over-torque the screws. The clamping action is pretty strong, and you shouldnt need to torque down hard to make them tight enough not to slip. ODI grips are made in the USA. My fiancée and I ride cross country and enduro/all mountain. We have Titus Xs. I also bought the ODI Ruffians, a thinner grip, for my bike and love them.

> 24 hourIt took me a bit to get used to these grips because theyre thick/beefy specially if you have small hands like me. Very soft and very good quality. No more numb hands? I dont think so. After a long ride your hands will get numb regardless, but still, these are soft and great grips. Definitely recommended.

> 24 hourI put these on my bmx Haro 24 cruiser. They work perfect, feel very grippy, comfortable, and look great. There’s a reason ODI is a leader in the industry. Delivery was on time with no issues.

> 24 hourI have been running these grips on all of my mountain bikes for a few years now. They have been the most comfortable grip Ive found for me - as I have larger hands, and most grips dont have the diameter of these. They are also soft and grippy rubber, which takes the little vibrations away quite well. Grippy enough for barehand use, and downright fully tacked down with a proper pair of gloves. They also have multiple color locks available to customize to your bike, so thats an added bonus. Give em a shot if you have problems finding thick grips for your bear paws!

> 24 hourThis is replacement for oem grips on my Norco Truax 1 freeride mt bike. I have actually seen Rogues on mt bikes of pro/competition mt bike riders so I knew they are great grips. The Rogue is slightly thicker than my oem grips (made by ODI) or the ODI Ruffian. I thought Rogues would be a little softer on the hands for bumpy downhill trails w rocky drops, and roots, and jumps. They are softer. But on the first rides with them the extra thickness felt like a hand full and the slight extra softness took a bit to get used to. This would probably not be noticed on a typical xc mt bike trail. My hand size is mens Large, and wear TLD gloves. I think theyre very good grips and I will keep them on. I can highly recommend, especially you are mostly on xc trails. I am curious though and want to try the Ruffians, which think will feel a little firmer thus more responsive for downhill. These are the slightest of personal preferences and each rider needs to find.his/her own.

> 24 hourI got these for my new Cannondale Treadwell, as these are my go-to grips for everything. I first got them years ago for my Mongoose mountain bike, then when I sold that bike I put them on my Specialized Hardrock. When I got the new Cannondale I moved them again from the Specialized to the Cannondale... they are still kicking like 10 years later...lol...but i decided a new pair was in order as the stock grips on the Cannondale were not my favorite and I figured some new grips were long overdue... So the ODI Rogue pattern was my first choice. This time in all black. As usual they are 100% awesome... thick, comfortable, high-quality construction and they look great.

> 24 hourThese grips are the best! I love these things. I always ride with gloves so this review is based on that, Ive never tried these without gloves. They have thick soft grip material that really dampens the impacts and vibrations on your hands. The pattern and how thick they are makes them extremely easy to hold onto and really get a good purchase on them. I have small hands and you would think that I would like thin grips like their ODI Elites but I cant stand those. These grips give you something to hold onto and the thick soft compound really is perfect. The endcaps are not cheap rubber endcaps but a plastic insert that clips into the lockring and is much safer than something rubber. Last thing you want it to be corked like an apple if you crash. They have dual lock-on rings that really secure the grips to your bars and give you some peace of mind. The grips are my fav for using gloves. I dont use thick gloves though, I use just standard no gell or anything crazy mtb gloves. The seller I bought the gloves from sadly shorted me a lock ring and end cap but luckily a fellow rider hooked me up with an old pair to replace the missing pieces because the seller wanted me to send them back and buy them again. Since that is no fault of the product Im not taking and stars off for that on a product review.
