taking a raft trip down the river and wanted to be safe. It was large enough so it went around me and gave me great mobility. Nice Looking too.

Not exactly super stylish however it does allow for ease of movement while kayaking and thats what I needed. The back pad sits up nice and high above the seat of the kayak (as it should). Not exactly thrilled with grey (how are rescuers supposed to see THAT?) but it will do. Do know that this is just a type III floatation aid and is NOT intended to turn you face up if unconscious. Do your research if you are a non-swimmer or are being exposed to dangerous/rough conditions frequently. This is best for smooth, open waters like inland lakes and gentle streams, not whitewater or off-shore boating activities.

Bought these for our kayak and they are great. Tried a regular life jacket and I kept getting choked. These dont ride up and the opening on the sides help to keep from constantly hitting yours arms on the jacket.
