This is comfortable and will work great for kayaking! I like the high back, so I can sit comfortable without being pushed forward. I only wish it was the neoprene material instead, which I usually prefer.

Great for Kayaking

We have finally found a pfd we can wear all day, not is not cumbersome to paddle with all day, and also works with our seat backs. We wanted to get inflatable ones as those primarily sit in front of you and would allow our seat backs to be more comfortable, but then we found these for less than half the price. These are awesome to paddle in and we have close to 100 miles in with these and loved every minute of it as we wear them all day now instead of just using a pfd for rapids. When they are comfortable you use them, and we finally found the ones for us. We canoe with an Old Town brand and the pfd sits just above the seat back and also allows us to sit comfortably while wearing this as well. See pics

Very good quality, the back is high and does not interfere with the seat rest. The front pads are a little thicker than I thought they would be but does not interfere with paddling. I wish you had a bigger pocket on the front to hold a phone.

Attractive and comfortable while paddling, I appreciated the high back that did not interfere with the backband of the kayak. Bulky in front though, to make up for the lack of material in back and sides.

Easily adjust light , comfortable while fishing

It has been absolutely perfect. We use them for our kayaks, there is plenty of room for you to paddle and cast from the boat.
