> 24 hourI bought this unit to replace the HD 26 that I bought in 2016. That was a very good projector I had purchased a new bulb for it and very recently the color went out on it and it was only in black-and-white. The funny thing is when I was reading the reviews for this one the remote control only had 3 1/2 stars but on the HD 26 it has five stars after unboxing I compared the two and they are the exact same. I haven’t heard mounted to the ceiling in the place of where the HD 26 was about 15 feet from the screen I am at the max and there is no adjustment for focus. Where the HD 26 had a zoom in and zoom out as well as focus and fine-tune

> 24 hourWe set this up in a very bright church auditorium and it was bright enough to see plainly. When we dimmed the front lights the picture was very detailed. I used powered fiber optic cables to go the 50 needed to the projector.

> 24 hour2 years in and pixels are failing. I’m up to 3 dead pixels and it is pretty distracting. I would say, this is slightly less than my expectations. You should easily get 3 hours from your projector without this sort of failure.

> 24 hourI tried out a couple less expensive (cheap) projectors before purchasing the Optoma. Ill just say you get what you pay for.... This one is 100% better than the others. Great picture, color is good, motion is good, and brightness is good. I have it projecting on a 150 screen and it looks great. Focus is good from corner to corner (the cheap ones you kind of have to pick which part of the screen you want to be in focus...) I havent tried 3D yet, but am looking forward to it. The projector was supposed to just be for fun to watch a movie on every once in a while, but has now become the go to every night.

> 24 hourOwned this now for about 1.5 years. Picture quality is Amazing. Watched the 2022 Winter Olympics on this and felt like I was there. Xbox gaming is incredible. Streaming quality is awesome. You dont need to spend any more money on something more expensive. Product is not large or heavy so its easy to work with. I have mine setup with a ceiling amount with a tab tension 100 screen in my bonus room above garage. Enjoy.

> 24 hourI was debating between the hd146 and this projector. I definitely recommend this projector over the hd146. The HDR is amazing on it.

> 24 hourPicture quality is extremely clear, but the speakers are HORRENDOUS comparative to any TV. You will absolutely need an external speaker, which will be especially challenging if youre projecting from the ceiling as you wont be able to connect a WiFi speaker. I think anyone would expect much better speaker quality for a $700 projector.
