> 3 dayThe only thing I didn’t like about it was no Bluetooth for sound hookup nor was there really any good ‘out’ port for a high quality sound system.

> 3 dayThis is a great projector, especially if you are using it for gaming. I was so impressed with it, I ditched the TV entirely. Its super bright. Great response times. Enough features. I have Fire Stick, Chromecast, PS4, and a direct connect HDMI all connected. But... It has handshake issues. This isnt the end of the world, but it does make it annoying enough that I reached to Optoma customer service to see if they had any resolutions. I ran across mentions of the issue in multiple reviews, including Projector Central. The main issue Im having is with a direct connection to my MacBook, Thunderboldt to HDMI. It basically wont hold the picture, constantly flickering. Ive tried multiple cables and converters, nothing works. Other reviews mention issues with the PS4 (Ive had none) or other devices. Ive had minor issues with the Chromecast, but not as much as the direct connection. I believe this is a firmware issue, not a hardware issue. Customer support basically brushed me off even after I sent them links to all the other references of the handshake issue. They suggested I send it in, since its still under warranty. I havent made up my mind on what Ill do with the unit yet. I dont want to send it back in, since theyll probably send me a refurb. I just wish Optoma would recognize there is an issue and look into it. They say they have no reported handshake issues. Well, Im reporting it. That said, this is a great projector for the money. I looked long and hard before upgrading. I settled on this one mainly because of the brightness and gaming aspects.

> 3 dayThis projector is mostly quiet and looks good but do not be fooled by the 15,000 hr lamp life claim as I was. A year and 1 month after purchase the lamp crapped out. And guess what. The manufacturer only waranties the lamp for 90 days. I ran a little math and if it had been on for a whole year that would have still came under 9,000 hrs... so they might as well say it lasts a gigilion hrs if they dont have to back that up with a warranty right. I thought ahead knwoing bulbs are a projectors weak point and bought 3 years of extended warranty through Asurion. Short story. Dont waste your money on it. Long storry after jumping through hoops for them for about 5 hrs my persistance paid off and they emailed me a lable to send my projector out to get repaired. A week and 3 days later i received my projector back cleaned and with a note that stated customer must replace bulb. Guess what. They dont cover bulbs. Isnt that great. Learn from my mistake. Know that, while the picture quality is good, you are buying from a company that wont stand behind their grandious claims. do yourself a favor and dont shell out the extra 50 some odd dollars for a 3 yr cleaning contract that takes years of your life due to the stress of just trying to get your warranty honored. IMHO Optoma and Asurion both suck and are permanently loosing a customer and gaining bad publicity.

Greater than one weekLoved the projector when I first got it, very bright and clear. After only 5 months the projector stopped working. It will turn on and work for about 5 minutes and then shut off completely. Reached out to customer service and they told me to follow the warranty process where you send the product back to them and have to cover the shipping costs with no ETA on when theyll send it back. VERY disappointed.

> 3 dayPurchased July 2022. The projector is a part of our golf simulator. After sitting idle/powered off for a couple months the projector failed to power up recently, 11-23-2022. Tried all reset procedures. Reached out to Amazon and the unit could only be returned by August 23, 2022. Thought we did our homework but obviously we missed something....$1,000 for no more than 2 months of use. I have reached out to Optoma via their contact us. Time will tell if they make it right.

> 3 dayI don’t know why this projector gets lots of good reviews but I really don’t like because of its picture quality. It was super grainy with bad color. It almost felt like I was watching a bigger version of a low quality video. And the machine is heavy and extremely hot when projecting. I don’t think it’s anything that I expected. They shipped me with one without lens cap so I had to buy a cap myself. Be careful if you have a high expectation on picture quality. This is no way what you want.

> 3 dayWhen I received this item I replaced it with my Optoma HD27-E and it started to work fine. Then all of a sudden the screen began to flicker like the bulb was starting go out. I went on online to replace my projector and received a message unable to return contact Optoma Service. I then called Amazon and received the same advice from someone off shore. I then requested to speak to a Manager onshore and was transferred. When I spoke with the onshore Manager I told her what my issue was and she said she would help me. After I was finished she was very helpful and said that she would replace my projector immediately and that I should receive it within a couple of days, which I did within two days. I asked her why was I told by the offshore reps that there was nothing they could do for me, after I told them that the Amazon website said free returns. She said that there was a misunderstanding and that she would bring it to their attention. This only goes to show always ask the person at the top for help if you know you are within your rights. I have received my new projector, the color is beautiful and there are no flickers so far. I hope this will be helpful to others with the same type of problem.

> 3 dayReceived my projector. It did not come with any sort of lens, cap or cover. So, I decided to try to reach out to them using their website in order to begin, I needed a serial number, which is nowhere to be found on the unit or Manual. The QR code on the manual goes to an invalid link. I would appreciate if the company would be able to reach out to me to send me a lens cap. Picture is as described
