> 3 dayOur vac needed something to make it clean better. I had just replace the cord and felt that maybe a couple of new parts would make the old machine better. I now works like it did when we first bought it

> 3 dayIt was easy for me (74 yr old female). Works great...smoothe. Mine came with a new belt which I highly recommend putting on with the new beater bar. But be sure to align the belt properly since it will possibly want to move to the side. Mine is a 9300 series, which is from the 80s or 90s. Was my moms. Still a solid vacuum .

> 3 daySuper Fast Shipping!! Easy to install. However; I ordered the wrong brush for my Oreck vacuum. My model needed the magnet built-in the brush.

> 3 dayMy Oreck XL is around 20 years old. For some reason I put it away. I dug this back out 2 weeks ago and took it apart to clean and noticed my belt was broken and my brush was pretty much junk. Probably why I put it away. These fit perfectly and its like I have a new vacuum.

> 3 dayMy Oreck XL Anniversary edition wasnt picking up stuff and hard to push. I checked the roller and it was nearly threadbare! I did not want to have to take it to a vacuum shop, so DH said just try to order the part on Amazon. I ordered this set and it took him about 10 minutes to replace the roller and belt. WOW. Even he was impressed--so much so that he vacuumed a couple of rooms! The vacuum is nearly self-propelled, it is so easy to use, and all the suction is back. Note: Weve replaced just the belt before ourselves and while this helps, replacing both (if needed) is the only thing that makes the vacuum work like new. Great product!

> 3 dayThis is the old version of the roller brush and will fit any of the older XL uprights that use the 11 inch roller brush. A guy at our local Oreck shop, also told me that this roller brush is the fix for the junk plastic ones on the newer Blue commercial Orecks. (The red commercial and older blue commercial XLs dont have the roller brush failure problems)

> 3 dayPurchased for my old 2800 series Oreck XL vacuum cleaner and not it is working again beautifully and perfectly, just like when it was new. If you have an XL series Oreck this is the replacement brush you want. As an added plus, it comes with three new rubber belts. This brush breathed new life into my old Oreck XL. Highly recommended.

> 3 dayIve had my Oreck XL for 20 years, & am ashamed to say I have never changed the brush/belt. It hadnt worked great for a while, but chalked it up to old age, & decided to see if it could be repaired so did some research. When I opened it up, the belt while in 1 piece, was all chewed up with a big hole in it. How the heck it never snapped I dont know, & the brush was just sad looking, so no wonder it didnt work well. The hardest part was getting the new belt on since its tight, & the brush roller is wood, like the original. I tested it out, & it was like a new vacuum, glided as smooth as silk & actually picked up stuff. I was so happy I vacuumed the whole house & apologized to the vacuum since it had been suffering so badly all this time. :)

Greater than one weekI bought an Oreck for their simplicity and ease of repair. When I smelled burning rubber I knew it was either the belt or the brush. Turns out it was both. One order and 5 minutes later and the machine is back up and running ready for crumbs for years to come. Not bad for $13.
