Oreck XL Vacuums Best Roller (1 Brush & 3 Belts)

This Brush fit my Oreck XL Pro Plus perfectly. And the vacuum works almost as well as new (6 yrs Old). I have two associated problems with this purchase. 1) The online product description is deceiving - the description lists the size of the package at 14 inches. I dont care about the package, Im interested in the product size. The brush is about 11.5 inches, not 14 inches. I had to call Oreck Customer Service to understand that there are only two sizes of Oreck brushes so this was the correct one for me. 2) a simple installation instruction sheet would have been helpful to include how to insert the brush relative to the words New and Old printed on the brush.

I needed belts and for a couple dollars more this kit included 3 belts and a brush. The belts were comparable in quality to the OEM. The brush didnt have quite the fit and finish of OEM but it installed easily and fit perfectly. I thought my old brush was fine, but noticed that it was worn down about half way compared to the new brush. After a cleanup, installation of the new belt and brush I remembered why I loved the Orecks so much. This kit brought new life and pride in my old vacuum. It also feels good having the spare belt in the spare belt holder again as well.

When I saw the word Oreck on the picture of the belt, I thought it was the Oreck brand,but it says To fit Oreck It did fit, but I dont know if it will last as long. I spent a little more money because I thought it was an original Oreck. Another seller was less money and their picture clearly identified the belt as a generic.

30+ years Oreck still going strong, new roller brush and belt works just fine! I have no idea where the 9x2x2 measurement comes from but dont take any notice. It really is 11 1/8 inches from bearing plate to the edge of the drive pulley.

Ordered this to replace the worn unit on my old vacuum. Fit and looks exactly like the OEM one i removed

It Works! We had a problem with our Oreck Vacuum, it stopped working and you could smell rubber burning...YUCK! When doing a research on line, it recommended to replace the Belt and clean the brush area and replace brush too. It was easy to do.

Purchased for my old 2800 series Oreck XL vacuum cleaner and not it is working again beautifully and perfectly, just like when it was new. If you have an XL series Oreck this is the replacement brush you want. As an added plus, it comes with three new rubber belts. This brush breathed new life into my old Oreck XL. Highly recommended.

My Oreck has been great but it does need a belt or the brush replaced and this what the items are for.

Amazing what a new brush and belt can do. Much easier on high carpets. Easy to install, good quality.
