These worked like a charm when I lived in Rome for a couple of months. All of them worked nicely, had no issues during my time using them.

This is my second time buying these for a trip to Europe. They work better than most other converters I have tried.

My third order of these. The originals still work, Ive just given then away as gifts (read: people keep stealing them from me because theyre awesome). These work all over the EU, but especially well in Germany and places that follow the full EU standard (as then the ground contacts line up as well). These are the ones to get.

Worked perfectly. It attached firmly, but not too firmly at both ends. It also fit exactly in the recessed outlets I found across France and the Netherlands. I did not know that recessed sockets existed, or that they were so prevalent, but Im glad I bought the this one as it fit them exactly. Make sure your devices are compatible with EU currents and before use. Just because it fits doesnt mean you wont blow out the power.
