Greater than one weekOK Ill start off with: #1) Do your research before you purchase products to use overseas. There is one main thing that I learned working on and with electronics and wires, over the years. That is all electrical items need a small amount of smoke inside them in-order to function, and if you let the smoke out of them, they suddenly stop working for some reason. It is also impossible to put the smoke back in. I read so many bad reviews of Schuko type F products because they did not fit in Italy or Israel etc. Many countries DO NOT use schuko type F outlets. Israel uses an offset 3 prong type H and Italy, primarily, uses an inline 3 prong type L (some Schuko). What these people are doing is slamming a product for not doing what they are not intended to do!?!? #2) I am in Korea and they use schuko type F outlets like in Germany. These adapters work GREAT over here. I have over a dozen all over the house in many different brands of receptacle and power strips. I bought 4 similar adapters for $5 each until I found these. The size and fit are identical to the ones I bought on Amazon, but the pins on those are looser (is looser a word?) than the ones I paid $16 a dozen for. I can only imagine the quality issues some reviewers had with their adapters can be attributed to Amazons tenancy to group similar items under one listing. Be careful where you buy your items from when you order your items in these listings from different sellers. The products are not always the same quality, color, or even brand. Mine were Ships from and sold by Amazon.com. In my pics, the one on the left is the $5 adapter. The main difference is the one in this listing has a wider lip, so there is some overlap in some power strips. #3) The adapters are supposed to fit very snugly. You are should push them into the outlet and leave them there until you are done with them. You plug your electrical item in and out of the adapter. I will leave mine in until I move out of this house. Now if you break them taking them in and out, well that is too tight. That probably goes back to the quality differences mentioned in #2. #4) If you are using non grounded (2 prong) electronics, you can use Type C 2 pin adapters, but in some countries like Korea the Schuko recepticals do not hold them tightly, so they can fall out easily. The Type C has 4mm pins and Type F has 4.8mm. Many Euro Schuko recepticals have smaller grabbers all the way in to hold type c. That is why many type C plugs only have metal on the ends of the pin. If you just type the country you are going to and adapter in the search bar, amazingly enough, you will find multiple listings for the adapters you need. Sorry if this was too long.

> 3 dayI left these all over Germany on accident so I’m glad you get several in the pack. Definitely don’t plug an American hairdryer into one of these though (blonde moment, lesson learned lol). But otherwise they worked perfectly for charging your phone in France and Germany. Not compatible in Switzerland, if anyone is wondering.
