I used these on my trips to Europe and they worked great. Theyre much nicer than the simplistic adapters that dont fill out the circular space in the outlet.

Great for their use. BE AWARE THAT THESE DO NOT POWER CONVERT, THE MERELY CONVERT THE OUTLET. With that in mind, I used these on a trip to africa to charge my laptop and phone, whose bricks are able to work with 220 volts

Took these to Berlin, Germany, recently, and they worked as expected. We stayed at a hotel. In case our luggage was lost, we brought one plug in our carry-on luggage. I needed these adapters for my iPhone and iPad. When we were in the Berlin airport, these was a plug near some chairs, and if my battery on my iPhone was low, I could have used the adaptor and plugged in my iPhone at the airport. There were no overheating problems and my iPhone and iPad were never damaged. I also used this adapter with my curling iron. Perfect! This is an ADAPTER not a converter.

It is important to realize that not all of Europe uses the same size electrical plug. In most of Italy, this wont work in some homes (the two pins are too thick or too wide), but the hotels generally accommodate the 3-4 different configurations of power plugs, including this one. I bought a couple of other power strips from a local home and garden store that accepted these and could charge my electronics batteries using these and a single outlet. 12 was much more than I needed, but was able to share with family and friends. Dont forget to check that whatever you plug in will work at 220 volts and 50 Hz. This only converts the physical shape of the plug - it does not adjust the 110V to 220V. And dont use a US surge protector power strip from the US in Europe, unless you want to make a spectacle of yourself.

Purchased these before moving to Germany- thank God because we use them all but have unfortunately lost some! Would highly recommend this purchase for anyone moving overseas and planning to use some of your appliances that dont require voltage change (cell phone charger- well most chargers are rated for 110-240 volts or so, electric toothbrushs, curling iron, laptop etc etc) I thought six would be overkill but after forgetting 1 in a hotel the five we have left are always in use somewhere in the house!

Cant have enough of these, constantly losing them, or giving them out.

These round adapters worked great on our 10 day tour of Spain. I brought all six because we had two rooms reserved in each of the five hotels that we stayed at on our tour. This worked out especially good because we did end up forgetting two in one of the hotels which left us with four. . . . two for each room. These adapters were easy to insert into the sockets and very easy to remove. I would highly recommend especially at the GREAT price offered!

Plenty to go around and worked well in France.
