Used with a KVM for an M1 MacBook Pro; provided input, display, and power. For power, make sure your KVM device supports the proper wattage or it will only keep power flowing and not actually charge.

Its pointless to connect Thunderbolt 4 components with cheap cables which can limit the flow of both data and power. OWC is well known for their T4 hubs and docks and they know whats needed in a cable to achieve the full benefit of the Thunderbolt 4 specification. This cable is very well made, flexible, and the 1M length is just right to connect a dock with the computer.

It charged my MacBook Pro at 91+ watts using an Anker GAN charger. The Apple supplied cable only charged at 86 watts. I didn’t check the transfer speed but I moved about a 100 gig from one sandisk extreme pros to another Sandisk Extreme Pro very fast (I know that’s a poor measure of speed). Just ordered a second cable.

Using this with a MacBook Pro M1 and works great for my need connecting to a TS4. I wanted to get the laptop off the desk and onto a shelf and its long enough for that purpose. Havent had it very long but since I dont move the laptop too often, Im sure it will last a good long time.
