Cable is stiff.

I had to transfer 350gb from one M1 Mac to another M1 Mac as my wife got her own M1 Pro 14 Macbook Pro. With a normal USB C cable, it said that it would take 17+ hours to transfer. When I found out that I got this cord that day in the mail, I stopped the transfer and plugged the OWC Thunderbolt 4 cable. It certified it was indeed Thunderbolt 4 on Migration assistant and it shortened the transfer time from 17 hours to about 2 hours. It is worth having one around!

Good size, solid build. Certified for Thunderbolt 4. Like everything for Thunderbolt 4, a bit pricey.

These work great on the Thunderbolt 4 port of my new Mac Studio backing up to a SanDisk Extreme external Hard Drive.

Using this with a MacBook Pro M1 and works great for my need connecting to a TS4. I wanted to get the laptop off the desk and onto a shelf and its long enough for that purpose. Havent had it very long but since I dont move the laptop too often, Im sure it will last a good long time.

Ich nutze einen Mac Mini M1 mit deinem CalDigit Dock, was mit TB3 bisher einwandfrei funktioniert hat. Für die Verbindung zum NAS brauchte ich einfach nur ein längeres Kabel. Sobald ich das OWC Kabel einstecke (egal ob im Mac oder Dock) erhalte ich den Ball des Todes und alle TB und USB Geräte sind nicht mehr ansprechbar. Sobald das Kabel ausgesteckt ist funktioniert alles wieder wie gewohnt. Unbrauchbar. Geht zurück.

When working, product is pricey, but very good. However, note that one of my two cables has a flaw - it does not wake external monitor when laptop wakes like it should.

No regrets buying this. I have not had any issues with both charging and video.
