> 24 hourWeve already scanned in a few photos and have been pleased with the result. Ive read reviews of this product on other sites and those would suggest that the reviewer was either impatient or expected too much. This is an inexpensive scanner and it does well for the money. If you want very high quality then be prepared to spend a lot more. I have no complaints.

> 24 hourI use this scanner for a project in my class. I have owned a Pandigital scanner for 3 years.I purchased another to keep in school. I have not had any problems. A few reviews mentioned white lines, I have not had that problem. This scanner is great. It will scan 4x6 papers too. I only wish it would accept polaroids!

> 24 hourIm puzzled by all the bad reviews and lines reported in the scanned photos. Mine does a wonderful job of scanning 4x6 photos exactly as they are. I did buy mine through Woot, so I dont know if it was reconditioned at the great price I paid, but it is fun and quick to send 50 year old pictures from my photo albums to family and friends as attachements or printed out on snapfish or one of the other services.

> 24 hourI bought this to scan photos - of course. After approximately 30 photos, the scanner needs to be recalibrated. You are also supposed to be able to view the pics as scan them, but I cant. The File Explorer window CLOSES every time you scan. You have to go back in each time. I was waiting until after I scanned a batch at a time. After about 30 photos, you have to unplug, clean the machine, then calibrate it. Its a shame. I was looking forward to using this. Dont waste your money. Just use a regular document scanner instead.

> 24 hourI have scanned about 200 pics so far. Yes, I can see fine lines in some of the photos, but I do not worry about it. I have many hundreds of pics to scan and just want to capture the image and not keep piles of photo albums. I am VERY happy with this product. I could not find another one that was so affordable, fast and stand-alone. I am very satisfied and am giving empty photo albums to the Salvation Army.

> 24 hourI just received the scanner and scanned about 40 pictures. The scanner was easy to use. However, I had the lines in all the pictures and the scanned image was darker than the original. The originals did not have lines before being scanned, after running it through the scanner, I could see light lines on the original. I would not purchase this scanner. I am currently in the process of returning it.

> 24 hourI owned a flatbed scanner that had a photo feeder attachment and it did the same thing. When I talked to HP they sent me two whole new feeders over a 6 month period of time. They said that the problem was that ANY spec of dust that gets on the photo or in the feeder will leave a scratch mark all the way down the length of the photo. They did not have a fix for this. Since I dont work in a 100,000 clean room, this technology is not for me. I gave this one a shot and it did the exact same thing. I cant believe that they put a product like this on the market knowing all to well that it is a flawed bit of technology. It is criminal in my opinion.

> 24 hourI purchased even with the mixed reviews hoping it would work for me. I am trying to scan photos from the last 13yrs that are in photo albums. I scanned about 200 pictures and every one of them had a line or lines through them. I cleaned the machine and calibrated the machine per instructions and still had the same problem. Sent it back and going to keep researching machines.
