I have been using this toothpaste for over 12 years. I am European, and it was recommended to me by my sister in law in Europe because I suffered from bleeding gums. My dentist was surprised how well it solved my bleeding gum problems. I havent had any problems with my gums since I started using this toothpaste 12 years ago. When five years ago, my husband was also told that he had problems with his gums and that he needed expensive treatment, I made him use this toothpaste. He hasnt had any problems since. For years, I had to buy Parodontax from Europe every time I traveled there, because it wasnt available in the USA. When it finally became available here, I was so happy.
