Penaten Baby Cream Crème Large, 5.1-Ounce

Used this product on my dogs lower lip. Read somewhere online that it was good to help with the dryness of dogs lower lip. Cost a little more than expected to spend but in the end was worth it. Fixed up my dogs lip right away.

Great cream for diaper rash.

This actually works really well. It is great for a rash for the baby. The nice thing about it is it has a very pleasant smell to it. It last a very long time because a little goes a long way so you really do get your monies worth. Good product.

I bought this to treat my dogs chapped jowels / lips. My dog is a Rottweiler / lab mix and also has some shephard in him I think. I noticed that at the very corners of his large, shephard-like mouth, he had some chapped areas, some parts badly chapped a little bit like an exposed blister. It was even a little infected. It was hard to notice. First I cleaned it and applied a cannabis-extract dog salve that is made for dog skin problems. That salve has previously worked on all the hotspots on his skin and was good at sealing in moisture and non-toxic and safe for him to lick. However, it didnt work that well for his jowels because its really moist in that area and difficult to treat. I found out about this product by searching the internet. It is German baby cream. Its made in Germany by the Johnson & Johnson corporation. I guess they bought it from the original German makers. My wife said it smelled like Nivea. I thought it had a very pleasant smell. It is basically German baby cream. All of the wording on the tin are in German and here my German major finally came in useful. It says that it is good for treating skin irritations and sealing in moisture and good for babies because it provides a visible layer of protection. This visible part is important because I can see that the white cream it is still on my dog after about an hour or so, I know he is not licking it off. The picture shows how it looks with the cream applied and stays on like that for at least a few hours. It does a very good job of treating the chapped part and it providing a layer of vaseline-like protection on the the very chapped part. My dog licked at it minimally the first time I put it on but after that, he never licked at it again. That was good because it stayed on there most of the day after one application. He seemed to like that is soothed the problem. Within a few days, his jowels are no longer chapped. I was concerned about him ingesting the cream although it seems to me that the ingredients of the cream are not going to cause harm in very small amounts. Ill probably have to use this again if it flares up but so far very happy and Ill update with any interesting developments. I bought this for my Cairn terriers scabby lip problem. It really works. After a couple applications my dogs mouth is clear. The cream is heavy, thick and pasty but not too greasy. My dog did not seem to lick it off. I guess it is sticky enough to resist an obsessive terrier. The cream is white and looks like zinc oxide. The delivery took a couple of weeks, but it seems worth the wait, and this is a large quantity of cream. I doubt I will need to reorder - ever. I definitely recommend.

There is no better cream for diaper rash than this. I’ve used this thick cream for 36 years and there’s nothing else like it. It works amazing and it thick and lathers on nicely! Highly recommend!

I used this cream 35 years ago when my son was a baby and loved it so I was so excited to see they are still making it. It is the best butt cream out there and now my grandchildren use it.

This is a fabulous product, not just for diaper rash, but also for when kids get those nasty lips from licking them in the winter. Slather it on and its gone overnight.

Ive used this cream on my German Shepherds lip fold pyoderma and some hot spots in her leg and armpits, which is cleared up very nicely. A better alternative to antibiotics and steroids.
