Greater than one weekI have a very large cat. In fact, when he’s sleeping in a fully stretched position he’s longer than the cage by an inch. Due to COVID, airlines are not transporting pets as cargo, so my only option during an international move was to try to carry on my cat. This cage has a couple of rods at the top that give it rigidity, but make it kind of a solid box in practice. For airline travel, remove those. They are on the inside, you should feel them. There are holes on the fabric by the end of the rods, just push them through there. This will allow the carrier to collapse a little and fit under an airplane seat (which have irregular shapes). I flew in a Delta 737-900ER, on main cabin, right window seat. This carrier has the maximum dimensions allowed by Delta, but still, the dimensions for all under-seat areas of their aircrafts are smaller in one way or another. This is why they strongly recommend (almost require?) a soft sided carrier. Without the rods I was able to compact the app of the carrier to fit under the seat. The downside is that it’s very awkward to handle, because it collapses when you try to use the shoulder strap without the rods. You have to use the handles. With a 16lbs cat through JFK I got a solid trapezoid workout right there… My large cat? He was fine -when he gets scared he curls into a very small shape anyway, like any cat. They get into kind of a ball shape and become a little taller and wider, but much shorter. The height of the carrier really helps with this. In the end, I think going on the carry on and being supervised was the best thing to do for my cat. He looked comfortable in the carrier, but stressed by the situation. Do talk to your veterinarian about some medication to relax your cat. This was very very important. Without that I wouldn’t have been able to handle him through security, and knowing him, he would have been traumatized by the flight and the move. I’ve been through a move before and it took two days for him to come out of hiding. With that medication, all of this happened and he didn’t even care. He was exploring by night one.

> 3 dayI purchased two of the medium and two of the large size to bring my four cats on a five-day cross country move. I switched from hard plastic carriers to these, both for cat comfort and safety since these can be seat-belted right into the car. I am very happy with both sizes of carriers. The photos are of the larger carrier, but both are very similar. Top and front door options helped to get cats in and out relatively easily. The pad appeared to be comfortable for them. We had two urine incidents, and the pads were easy to un-zip and wash the covers in hotel sinks and were dry enough by morning to put them back into the carriers. The pad was absorbent enough that nothing got through to the car seat at all (and boy do I appreciate that!). The cats did claw a bit, but for five days I think the carriers held up amazingly well and will last us for a long time. Photo is from after the trip. Size-wise, my largest cat is just over 16 lbs, and although she couldnt stand up in the carrier, she was able to turn circles with no problems and they were laying down most of the trip anyway. We used both the hand-carry handles and the shoulder straps during the trip and both ways felt sturdy. After the trip, the pad covers got machine-washed, rest of the carriers wiped down, and all folded up easily for storage, with the four taking up less space than a single hard plastic carrier did. I am very glad that I bought these and my fur babies made it to our destination safely.

Greater than one weekI opened the package and assembled the carrier (easy assembly) upon arrival, my cat jumped right in and made it her new sleeping nook. The cushioned pad is great, very breathable and love that I can throw it in the wash. Also the fact that it collapses makes storage so convenient when not using.

> 3 dayThis carrier is AWESOME! It is well constructed and sturdy unlike the last one I purchased. It may cost a little more than a few others but it is well worth it.

> 3 dayFirst time to the vet I got a compliment carrying this bag. It has a shiny almost iridescent look. Multiple colors in the part of the bag that appears gray in the photo. My cat was comfortable on the padded bottom. When I first received it I popped it open and sat it on the floor. She quickly went inside to hide out. After being seen by the vet she went back inside. Its very light colored and I am concerned that it might get dirty and hope that it will be easy to clean.

> 3 dayHonestly one of the best carriers I have ever purchased. I was looking for one that would be easier to get my large 15lb cat into and this it definitely it. My cat loves it so much, he actually goes in by his own choice and sleeps or just hangs out. He looks a little cramped in it but as I mentioned before, he actually chooses to go into it so it seems like the right size to me. I ended up buying one for my sons cat as well. We had one urine accident from my other older cat on a trip to the vet and unfortunately it did spread out onto the car seat, we solved this by lining the seat with a trash bag going forward. It was easy to wash the whole carrier. I recently moved cross-country and my large guy was comfortable in the carrier but after several long days of travel and him just wanting out, one seam along the mesh is starting to give a little so Im buying another to replace it.

> 3 dayPurchased for recent road trip with 16 year old cat. It was going to be her first long trip in the car that also included our 14 year old dog. We had no idea how it would go, and I’m so glad I was prepared with this purchase! This carrier has a fairly sturdy bottom that also has a plush covering. There are *many* openings so you can easily get your kitty in and out. She had *NoIdea* what was happening. Additionally, there’s a clip inside that you can attach to a harness for extra security. She LOVED this! She’s never been able to poke her head up and out and look around so easily. All of the openings gave me easy access for petting/soothing anxiety and she was so happy with this. I highly recommend!
