> 3 dayThe carrier is a perfect size for my 17.5lb kitty. The pad washed up well without any issue. Considering a second one.

> 3 dayI have a very large cat. In fact, when he’s sleeping in a fully stretched position he’s longer than the cage by an inch. Due to COVID, airlines are not transporting pets as cargo, so my only option during an international move was to try to carry on my cat. This cage has a couple of rods at the top that give it rigidity, but make it kind of a solid box in practice. For airline travel, remove those. They are on the inside, you should feel them. There are holes on the fabric by the end of the rods, just push them through there. This will allow the carrier to collapse a little and fit under an airplane seat (which have irregular shapes). I flew in a Delta 737-900ER, on main cabin, right window seat. This carrier has the maximum dimensions allowed by Delta, but still, the dimensions for all under-seat areas of their aircrafts are smaller in one way or another. This is why they strongly recommend (almost require?) a soft sided carrier. Without the rods I was able to compact the app of the carrier to fit under the seat. The downside is that it’s very awkward to handle, because it collapses when you try to use the shoulder strap without the rods. You have to use the handles. With a 16lbs cat through JFK I got a solid trapezoid workout right there… My large cat? He was fine -when he gets scared he curls into a very small shape anyway, like any cat. They get into kind of a ball shape and become a little taller and wider, but much shorter. The height of the carrier really helps with this. In the end, I think going on the carry on and being supervised was the best thing to do for my cat. He looked comfortable in the carrier, but stressed by the situation. Do talk to your veterinarian about some medication to relax your cat. This was very very important. Without that I wouldn’t have been able to handle him through security, and knowing him, he would have been traumatized by the flight and the move. I’ve been through a move before and it took two days for him to come out of hiding. With that medication, all of this happened and he didn’t even care. He was exploring by night one.

> 3 dayThis is a perfect carrier for cats that are very used to carriers. My kitty is not, she was rescued from a truck parking lot so she was partially a feral cat. But, we have two other cats who just love this carrier. When I first got it they would go in and lay down for a nap. They love it. The zippers are very secure and provide just the enclosure and safety needed for a trip to the vet. It also has a very nice pad for the travelers which helps a lot to calm nerves if they are at all apprehensive. There is quality built into this carrier as well as comfort. It definitely has my recommendation!

> 3 dayOur cat loves this! I was very concerned when it referred to it as “medium” because I wasn’t sure what that meant in cat sizes - I haven’t had a cat in years. I definitely knew our Sadie is tiny and maybe would grow to fit it; she is 5 pounds and this carrier gives her room to treat it like a crate, move around etc. She’s not cramped at all but I can see a cat that might be a little bit bigger would feel like it’s more of a carrying case than an escape domain. It does fall flat and I love that about it but in order to keep it sturdy one certain parts are unzipped, you have to definitely keep the non-meshed parts of it zipped shut. I actually ran the seatbelt through parts of it and it was completely stable in the car. The inside liner is absolutely a very thick, plush liner that helps keep the carrier stable and solid. When everything is unzipped it might seem flimsy but if you choose how you unzip it it is actually an awesome carrier and I’m so happy about the purchase! I chose green and it’s kind of a mint/sage sort of green which I very much like. I haven’t washed it yet but it is a very sturdy canvas that looks like it’s easily wipeable and I’ve already used my Cricut to embellish it with iron-on letters that impressed my vet very much! :)

> 3 dayWhen I saw the fantasy pink color in someone else’s review here I knew I had to get that one, but it was out of stock! I googled around and found the brand’s Facebook page under their same name, and sent a message on the off chance someone would reply. Within a few hours, they let me know that it would be back in stock in a few days, and that they would let me know. And then, the best part, in a few days, they actually messaged me to tell me it was back in stock! Talk about amazing customer service, I’ve never really contacted a brand selling on Amazon before but I really appreciated this interaction. Now onto the carrier itself: The color is AMAZING. Cutest carrier! I love the pink mesh hahaha. I have it pictured next to a carrier we bought from a different brand for our other cat. Design-wise they are the same but the materials of the petisfam bag are far superior— nicer webbing, nicer zippers, nicer and cushier fleece pad. I also like that the board inside the pad is foam on top of stiff plastic, so it’s easy to clean if needed. The one downside is that the walls are not lined, unlike the gray one, which as a smooth fabric lining that would make it a little easier to clean. However, the loosely woven (but still firm) fabric of the pink carrier is essentially like having all-over mesh venting for maximum breathability so I guess it’s just what you and your cat value/prefer! All in all, 15/10 would recommend!
