> 24 hourIve had my Sony WH-1000xm3 headphones for about 4 years now and theyre fantastic. In reality, their purpose is completely different from the purpose of these Philips X2HR headphones, but I just want to say the sound quality of the Philips is noticeably better than the Sonys. Im hearing instruments, vocals, and other details in music that Ive never heard before. These Philips are also fantastic for video editing and voiceovers. They work perfectly plugged into my laptop. My laptop happens to have Nahimic which I use to make the headphones sound extra amazing.

> 24 hourThese were bought to supplement Bose QC headphones which were Bluetooth enabled and I have to say the quality of the X2’s are in my view superior to anything I’ve heard before. For just over £129 they are a steal.

> 24 hourThis is my first time ever returning a headset because of low volume and just okay sound. The good thing about these headphones is the build quality. They are built like a tank and they could handle a bit of rough treatment. However, despite the great build quality and the comfort of the headset, Ill be returning them. This is because of the poor sound. Im not an audio snob by any means, but I do own a lot of headphones both wired and bluetooth. I tested these headphones with 2 pairs of wired headphones, an anker life q20 and a skull candy grind listening to the same song on my iPhone 8 and at the same volume. I noticed wright away compared to the anker and the skull candy set without changing the volume on my iPhone how low the Philips headphones were. Also, the bass was severely lacking in the philips headphones. The anker headphones had a bit more bass, and the skull candy set kind of was even between bass, mids, and highs. I listen to traditional country and that music isnt that bass heavy to begin with. However, these philips headphones are going back because of the lack of bass and especially for the low volume. I was expecting that the volume would be able to get at least as loud as my other lower priced headphones, but this simply isnt true. Another kind of issue, is the cord that comes with the headphones. Why on earth does it have to be so long. I know you can use that clip thing that was on the end of the cable to shorten the length, but you shouldnt have to do that at least in my opinion.
