PHILIPS Fidelio X2HR Over-Ear Open-Air Headphone 50mm Drivers- Black

These are the least fatiguing headphones I own. The sound quality us excellent. Im using them wirelessly via a Fiio BTR3K using LDAC codec. Im quite sensitive to peaky, sharp treble. Despite some of the reviews I have found that this is not an issue at all. These have a surprisingly detailed top end without being harsh. Some people describe these as being a V shaped sound signature (highs and lows, slightly recessed mids).. This isnt true. The sound has slightly emphasised lows, but the bass isnt actually too over blown. Compared to something badly tuned like the BEATS headpones, or the Sony extra bass variants, and these sound more refined. it does sound like there is slight drop off somewhere in the mids, but overall the mid frequencies sound quite balanced.

This review is useful if you wear glasses. Im no audiophile so Ill refrain from talking about anything other than the comfort.

Haben sie vor ca 1 1/2 Jahren schonmal für meinen Partner gekauft. Dieses Jahr habe ich mir selber auch welche zugelegt. Sie sind super bequem und auch nach Stunden tragen sehr angenehm an den Ohren.

Die sound qualität der Kopfhörer ist dunkel und unklare also gar nicht so gut wie die leute hier schreiben. Für denn preis kriegt man viel bessere Kopfhörer wie zum beispiel der Sennheiser HD 58X.

The part that goes overhead and attaches to the headphone separated from each other. Super disappointed in the quality.

There are a lot of reviews so I’ll just sum up the negatives that don’t seem to be highlighted very well.

Great set of headphones, especially at their current price. The only thing they lack is deep bass, for my ears, BUT that allows the listener to hear the rest of the curve better. Crystal clear listening for little coin!

X2HR: Brilliant, versatile. Boosted vocals and bass does not ruin a balanced sound, but it is borderline~ landing on the right side of a balanced presentation. For home use- with an open back and bulky.
