> 3 dayGreat headphones, theyre clean and have a nice bass, in the picture there are 2 other headphones the Hifiman HE400SE and the Beyerdynamics 300mmx, the hifiman has less bass since its planar but its bass is cleaner and faster in its response i felt, the beats were separated from each other so to say rather than blend together, the Beyerdynamics has heavier bass but the mids and highs arent as good as on this headset, the Beyerdynamics honestly felt a little muddy when compared to the philips fidelio x2hr which made me a little sad since the Beyerdynamics are twice the price, if you have an EQ for these headphones im certain they will satisfy most peoples tastes.

Greater than one weekTruly amazing sound. If you want heavy bass, maybe not the best earphones allthough if you swapped the pads for thick pleather ones Id bet youd get more out of them.. however theyre open backs and bass isnt really theyre cup of tea.

Greater than one weekBefore purchasing these, please pay attention to the description. These are open backed headphones, which means that noise will leak like crazy. So these will not give you any kind of noise cancellation, and are probably not a great choice for an office environment either since everyone around you can hear what you are listening to.

> 3 dayI bought the X2HR version, after hearing all the issues with glue holding the pads with the previous version, I was a bit worried. But the HR version has easily detachable and replaceable earpads, which is nice.

> 3 dayI purchased these to use almost exclusively with my PC. Early result are not very impressive. Compared to the pair of Koss KPH30i that I was looking to upgrade from, the sound is very muffled in both volume and detail. A little disappointing seeing how the Koss are $30.

> 3 dayLow punchy bass. Hearing sizzling noise in high volume. Really disappointed. Not as I expected.
