Hue lights are fantastic, these are a great two pack set of white lights. That being said there are no color variations here, which I didnt realize, but I use these still. They are great, a little brighter than the other sets, and useful everyday.

Hue lights are great. They work every time without over taxing your Wifi network like the bridge-less competitors.

This worked great until Phillips decided to dishonor its promotion with echo which stated you could use their bulb without the bridge/hub and greedily disconnect the amazon alexa app so you cannot connect the skill through the app. They seem to have done this in order to force people to buy their overpriced hubs and bridges. We disconnected and were unable to connect back to it through our echo so now we have an overpriced $2 bulb. Additionally they discontinued the hue bluetooth app on the play store to force people into their new system

These work quite well; the white color temperature change feature is excellent. My only complaint is that the both product title and packaging prominently state that they are dimmable LED bulbs, but its only in the fine print on the box that it mentions that they are only dimmable using a compatible Philips dimmer. A standard in-wall dimmer switch or a smart dimmer like the Lutron Casétas will not work with these.

Only had one bulb and stopped working

I bought one set 6 months ago and have been replacing almost every bulb in the house with them ever since. What none of these reviews seem to tell you is that you can control these bulbs without any bridge, you just have to have at least one Philips Hue Smart Dimmer Switch. The product description and instructions that come with these bulbs and/or the Dimmer Switch say that you have to have a bridge or Alexa, you do not. I have one remote per room. One remote will control multiple bulbs. There are Youtube videos with instructions on how to connect without a bridge, it is an extremely simple process - but even they do not say that while the bulb is turned on you can tap the on/power button again to change the color temp to one of the four in the product description. I found out by accident. I can only speak to specific bulb (White Ambiance). The four color temperatures are the third picture down on the manufacturers item page. You get everything from daylight to candlelight. I prefer the soft glow of the Relaxation temperature.

Cheaper than the color bulbs but still highly overpriced.

Great light bulb if you just want to change the color temperature and keep your lighting general.

Exactly what I ordered and we love them! Pairs great with our Google Home.
