Im not entirely sure why, but for some reason when I saw that it was portable I assumed it had a battery built in. I think I got mixed up with the 8 hour use time when filled with water and wanted to help others avoid making the same mistake. That said, its small and feels quite refreshing. I havent used it on a miserably hot day yet, but it certainly works as advertized. Even if it doesnt work as well as I was hoping for in my bedroom, I can see it being a great addition to my camping gear the next time I go. Provided I dont forget a battery to power it haha

We find this unit of GREAT help in the Texas heat. Helps to quickly cool any area in the house. Dont need to run the full air conditioning in the house so often and THAT helps with energy bills. Just top it up with water and let it run, simple as that. Remember to empty the tank at the bottom, when needed, or will leak onto your surface. Highly recommend this unit and will probably pick up another few for around the house.

This portable AC is lite weigh and very easy to get setup. It puts out a lot of cool air for a unit this size. Its very quiet as I used it on my office desk at my home. My AC was not working at my home and this unit allowed me to continue to work and be comfortable.

I love the fact that: 1. They are portable. 2. They have a convenient remote. 3. They can be adjusted simply with ice and water. 4. They are not taxing to the environment. 5. I can position them strategically. 6. They work in unison with one another. 7. They are affordable. 8. They are aesthetically pleasing.

My office has south-facing windows, and it gets rather warm during the summer months before the building air conditioning kicks in. This little unit does a great job of just taking the edge off and keeping me cool. It functions more as an enhanced personal fan than anything else since it sits on my desk about 2ft away from me. I fill the little reservoir with a 50/50 mix of water and ice, and it does a great job of hitting me with cool air. My office gets to around 80 F, and this unit helps keep me cool (and sane) until the real air conditioning kicks in.

Didnt know what to expect when I bought it, but it really works great. I use it in a bedroom upstairs and when its on the room actually gets to cold but thats ok I rather freeze then sweat.

We have really liked using this air conditioner when we run the AC less in the peak hours. It helps cool us off in whichever rooms we are in throughout the house because it is so portable to move around. Also, I love that my portable charger will even run it and we don’t have to take from the energy on the times we are trying to conserve our energy.

What a nice little cooler! I live in a studio apartment and this evaporative cooler does not take the place of my portable AC with the hoses in the window, but I use it over in the corner by the bed, and my little dog and I enjoy its cooling effect! It keeps me from having to turn on my AC as early in the day. I agree with those who say its not meant to cool an entire room, because its not, but it can cool you off in a section of a room and does that very well. My dog loves it and flops down in front as soon as I turn it on. The lights with their changing colors make it really attractive, too. Definitely a worthwhile purchase and its really nice!

This AC is great for extra AC in hot rooms. Was easy to set up and cooled my room in short time. Easy to fill and refill and settings are simple to understand. Recommend this if you need extra cooling during the summer.

This portable AC Unit is great! It blows really cold air, and the power is precise. It easily sits on the table and does not require a lot of space. The noise lever is very tolerable also. Great purchase for what is sure to be a hot summer!
