> 3 dayThis product is light weight but can be annoying hanging around your neck until you get used to it. It is also relatively noisy and gets louder as you increase the intensity. The fan works but like all fans, it just blows the temperature of the air surrounding it. When I work outside in the garden, the fan does seem to keep small bugs like gnats out of my face. I walk every morning, usually before daylight, but on weekends I walk after daybreak and use the fan. It helps some but when it is hot, it only blows hot air, but any air movement is good when it is hot and humid as SW Florida tends to be. It works as advertised.

> 3 dayI purchased this and another similar brand for my husband and I. We live in TX and its currently triple digits everyday. I have MS and my husband just cant handle heat very well. I figured this would help when I went out to do yard work or even just a walk. Based upon reviews, some people say this helps outside. I will have to strongly disagree. All I did was walk outside onto my shaded patio, (99.6 degrees at the time) and it felt like a hair dryer was blowing onto my neck. It just takes the unbearable hot air and blows it onto your neck and face. All in all, what I purchased it for is an absolute no-go. So, if youre looking for relief outside from extreme temperatures, this wont work. I ended up going back to my frozen towel. So that was kinda a downer. Inside though, totally different story! My husband likes the house at 65 degrees and I like it more 75-80. He wore this and at first was skeptical. But, once he noticed the house temp was 77 and he was still feeling fine, he agreed great purchase. Its comfortable, not noisy and quick recharge which goes for hours. But, I feel they shouldnt advertise the product as helpful when using outdoors in extreme heat. I really emphasize that part because of so many heat waves everywhere. **Do not purchase for outdoor activities in severe heat**

> 3 dayI have a rare health condition that was triggered by an allergic reaction to an ear piercing. It is called Erythromelalgia and it makes my right ear and right side of my face red, swollen and it feels very hot like it is on fire all the time. Without going into the lengthy story of all of the doctors I have visited I will simply say that these neck fans are life saving. At first I used to carry coolers of ice around so that I could hold ice packs on my red and hot face, then with improvement from a variety of medications I was able to graduate from ice to fans so I used to carry fans around blowing on my face all day long. Now that I have these neck fans, the air blows directly onto my ear and face without me needing to hold a fan at all times. This frees up my life enormously, helps me to slowly soothe the aggravated skin, and makes summer time more bearable. I used to use Arctic Air fans, but lately they have become poor quality, are too loud and break easily. So far these neck fans are much better than the competition. They are comfortable, cooling, and the battery life is pretty incredible compared to what I was used to. They are also very quiet, which allows me to have the fan on without irritating everyone around me. As an added bonus, they also look a bit like a very cool set of headphones - thanks, and I hope you guys keep making these!

> 3 dayMy mom was suffering major hot flashes. Were talking Its 14 degrees fahrenheit outside and I need to IMMEDIATELY go outside for 3 minutes because I am literally on fire in .2 seconds types of hot flashes. Red faced, sweating, the whole works. It was miserable, and they would just come out of nowhere unprompted. I saw that this little doohickey had pretty good reviews and risking yet another electronic bummer, I went ahead and grabbed one as a Christmas present for her. Yall. YALL. I cant keep count of the amount of times my mom has told me she loves this fan. Its a lifesaver. She keeps it in her purse and even uses it out and about because the thing is so quiet and powerful. The fan cools her down quickly, the battery life is great, the device is cute (the sage green color is so soothing) and the fan is lightweight enough to where it doesnt cause her headaches, which is impressive considering even heavy earrings can give her headaches. As of December 25th, its been going strong, and trust me, it gets a LOT of use from her. If youre looking for a portable and wearable fan, just buy this one. Dont waste your time looking elsewhere, this is it, the holy grail. You could say Im a...... Fan of it.

> 3 dayIn extreme heat it doesn’t cool fast enough and just recycles hot air. It is good for what it’s worth. I would buy it again
