I like that this product has a longer cable with a flat head. It looks good and works just as expected.

The light indicator is small and non-obnoxius. So much better than the red flash coming out of those red buttons that glow a bunch at night.

This works as expected. It is easy to plug in items and has an sleek design.

I was home one afternoon when I heard the loud sound of a spark immediately followed by a tremendous thunderclap. Afterward I could smell burned plastic. The surge protector melted and when I picked it up I could see two images on the window sill where the insides had vaporized and blow out through the mounting holes. The two laptops that were plugged in and on survived. Unfortunately my TV, which was on another circuit, did not.
