It plugs in and powers the things... I cant really imagine how to test it, so time will tell how good the surge protection is. Feels nice and solid tho compared to a cheap power strip.

Nice surge protector. Strong construction and nice Mounting holes on the back. Note: the green led is quite bright on this unit. Easily fixed with a small amount of electrical tape or a sharpie.

Really nice affordable outlet with low profile flat ended plug. Has USB outlets which make it especially nice not having to use USB adapters. Excellent construction makes it feel and look high quality.

I needed a surge protector strip for my TV and soundbar. Found this trusted APC one at a great price. The plugs are spaced far enough apart for my plugs (may only fit one big adapter plug at the end though). The materials feel quality and well made. The real test is when my house gets hit by lighting, but lets hope that never happens.
